Text said $944.78 was charged on my "card" (which card?) for a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook? If not me, call 816-689-4241...which supposedly is a landline in Kansas. The text came from 605-309-3975.

This is a blackmail/***tortion incident the person using this number said “I’m going to post to all bloggers now and I’ll make you famous. Get me ******cks or I s**** now. Deal or no deal? Once it’s posted it can’t be reversed”. This number needs to be shut down, they’re using this number to blackmail people and I have evidence to prove this, cause I’m a victim as we speak!

EMKC I have been receiving calls from this number for the last three days. They are located very near where I live, so it may be a sales call. I haven't answered, and they haven't left a message.

jasmine This number has sent multiple text messages using my name, saying they hadn't heard from me in a while. Refused to give me their name... said I had to add them to Yahoo msnger to talk to them and gave me their Yahoo name. There have been multiple complaints about this number online.

I had my roommate answer because it was a local number. I don't usually answer numbers I don't recognize. They clearly did not believe she was not me because they kept calling her by my formal name, which I never go by. They gave her no message and said they would call back later.

This is a representative from EDU online telling me that I put my phone # into their website database wanting information on furthering my education. I do not remember doing such a thing, they must have gotten my # from one of the career websites I was using at the time.

Who are you and why do you keep calling me and not leave a message?

Caller ID showed (816) 892-4961. This is a Kansas City, MO telephone number. My wife answered the phone, this woman asked for our son, she told the lady he was not home. The lady asked to have him call 800-665-3140 and ask for Karen. She would not tell my wife the name of her company or what they wanted. Our son will not be calling Karen back.

cjg We keep getting calls from this number and various other toll free numbers -- sometimes they leave a message-- sometimes they do not. The messages are for another relative that does not live with us. We screen all of our toll free calls with the caller ID and we do not answer those but when the 816 numbers show up we most generally will pick those up because we do not remember everyone's cell # but this time it was a recording looking for the relative, so I promptly ***g up on it. I am sure it is some sort of a collection agency because from what we can determing the toll free calls are from collection agencys. The caller ID only gives a phone number and then unknown name (or toll free call) the company calling is never identified.
