YES! Me too ! In fact I am soooo glad to have found this blog. This guy calls me about 10 times a day.He identify's himself as James Anderson and tells me "I can only wish you good luck with the rest of whats left of your life if you don't reply to this phone message" He now after ignoring his phone calls is identifying himself as "Officer James Anderson". I was trying to figure out where he got my SS # from....he always repeats just the last 4 numbers. I did ask him once to send me written proof of this so called debt and he ***g up quickly. But now he is calling a***n, ALOT!!!  We , like others took out a payday loan, once. But paid it back in full. (Its impossible not to , unless you close your checkingaccount, which we did not.) Now I will not be freaking out so badly that I know this is a hoax. Be careful , this has come through on other phone numbers now that he is getting well known. I have had it on the 818 area code, as well as 602,510, and 866. Be careful people.... don't ever give ANYONE more info about you if you KNOW you are in the RIGHT!!!!

THE CALLER REPEATEDLY CALLS MY WORK, BOTH MYSELF AND MY EMPLOYESS HAVE SAID I CANT GET CALLS AT WORK. I TOLD HIM TO MAIL ME ANY CORRESPONDENCE, HE SAYS HES FROM THE "FBA" AND THAT IM BEING SUED. I SAID MAIL ME THE PAPERWORK THEN. THEY ARE NOT ALOWWED TO CALL YOU AT WORK ONCE YOU TELL THEM NOT TO. ITS IN VIOLATION OF THE FDCPA LAWS. HE SAYS HIS NAME IS NEIL CRUZ. HE LEAVES A PHILADEPLHIA NUMBER FOR ME TO CALL BACK BUT CALLER ID SHOWS HES CALLING FROM OUT OF THE COUNTRY.

Last week my mother received the same threatening phone calls about an unpaid loan where the guy said she would be taken to court. The same guy ("Indian" guy with an American name) just called me and said that my mother had put me and my husband down as a reference and that we would get taken to court instead if she does not pay back the loan.  I could barely understand him with his thick accent and loud background chatter.

THey have called me and he says he is Jason Smith but with a thick Arabic accent-- yeah right.  As I have found out on the net these arabs have got our names and stuff because once we did a payday loan  and they somehow got our info illegally and now they are trying to scam us into giving them money.... DO NOT GIVE THEM A THING..  It's a con and they aren't even really in the US.  They are routing calls thru CA that are originating in India.

I'm getting the same action: an alleged payday loan. They have my SS and have targeted a deposit I made back in August 08. They keep calling and are very threatening. They have used the names James Anderson and Frank Jefferson. They say everything is time sensitive and that they will move on me.

I am also getting calls from this number.  I could not understand the guy that much but I think his name was Andy ***t.  He is also telling me that I owe a payday loan company over 1000.00.  He told me that if I don't pay the money, I will have to go to court and be arrested on Monday that is 5 days days away.  He went as far as give me a fax number to send a letter that I have to notrize saying that I promise never take a payment out from a payday loan place a***n and not pay it back.  He also has called me repeatedly and gets upset and has yelled at both myself and my wife.  The last time he called me, he told me "good luck on finding another job, because he is going to call my place of work and make trouble for me.  I have reported this to the Denver DA and my local police department.  I have also contacted the organization that regulates bill collectors in my state as well.

Some Indian guy keeps calling, saying his name's Kevin Peterson and that I NEED to call him back because it's time sensitive. That I took a loan out through a company named National Payday and that I owe them $5K-$6K and that I need to be in court or give him my attorney's information asap. I keep telling him I made no such loan application and that he needs to stop calling, but he calls back every 10 minutes. It's exptremely annoying and I wish I could find them myself but the numbers they call from aren't even listed with anyone.
