Anonymous They are a scam - **** up on them they are rude. The previous post is accurate - they give NO information on who they are. They try scare tactics - they will tell you there is a warrant out for your arrest. No one calls to tell you that. They just come to your door...use your head and don't give these guys anything but a **** up and then block their number. They will also call a relative and try to scare them.
Rather not say Called cell number and did not leave message. Called number from a land line and after ringing 10 or 12 times, several clicks and the number disconnects.
Fuller Got call from this number. Would not tell me company name. Lady wouldn't tell me her name. Said this was about a loan taken out in my name that was fraud. When I asked what info she had, she gave me only my street address, then said I was belligerant and that she was referring my case to the fraud courts in the city where I live. Then she ***g up.

These scammers use phony number and names to attempt to get****ential victims to send in money on fake loans that appear to be from legitimate sources. 713-931-3690, 713-931-3***, 713-936-3424, 713-893-1051, 713-581-2066, 281-404-4394, 512-686-4244, 210-401-3930, 979-639-7900, 779-400-0010, 817-400-1316, 832-532-3830 The names vary each time. These fraudsters have committed company identify theft a***nst a Federal Credit Union. Consumers targeted by the scam typically are looking for a payday or short term loan and search the Internet for****istance. They voluntarily place their personal information on these independent sites (not recommended) and then receive an email from one of the aliases. They say that you have been approved for a short term loan that is affiliated with companies that the scammer has no****ociation with whatsoever. Consumers who respond by telephone to the offer are then told that in order to receive the loan, they have to pay for either an upfront fee, taxes owed, processing fee, etc., in the form of a MoneyPak or Pre-paid credit card including Vanilla Network cards. Do not pay any upfront fees and **** up on them.
Brandie I was contacted by this number today stating that I was going to be charged with felony check fraud & larcony. My local police dept. thinks this is a phishing scam. I am investigating.
