Possible scam using rental houses

Scammer - posing as a process server. Called from an unknown number but left this number to call back. Made threats to take to court and serve papers at my house tomorrow unless I paid 75%. None of this checks out.

Said he had legal papers to be delivered to me. I hung up and then he called a family member.

Sorry, its James Corey and I dialed the wrong number apparently bc I just called it and his voicemail box came on. However, I still do not have a good feeling about this company.

Called my mom and ex mother in law for a credit card that is 15 years old. It is out of the statue of limitations (6yrs in Ga). They told me I would be served papers the following day between 3-5. They never came. He couldnt tell me the address where the papers were being served bc he only had access to my last 4 ssn. Said that was a diff dept that handled that and they would pull where I wk from my ssn. Then when I questioned my if this was scam, he said well I have your full ssn as xxx-xx-xxxx. I said ok but that tells me nothing about if you are a scammer. He gave me a number to call him directly. I called it this am bc the ppl never showed and I wanted to make 100% sure that this was a scam. Well the number he gave me is not a real number. His name was james carey at 832-479-4716.

They’re ordered to harass you to keep you quiet or even worse believe me they’re sick people who sell their own children to their bosses and friends partners group I’m taking lawyers , judges and police officers , doctors who all swore an oath

She said she will serve me documents tomorrow between 3-5. If i did not sign i will be marked as non compliant. If i want to reschedule call 8325511989. Gave me a reference number.

The individual associated with this number is not of good character, they bear false witness in an effort to receive mere change back from companies that are doing them a service. If this number is known to you, do not answer or have anything to do with it because it will cost you time, effort and energy for nonsense.
