got a text from this number this morning. will not give out a number that way. couldn't think of one account of mine at u.s. bank.u4u4
I got this text 8:39am Mt time. Thanks, I****umed it was someone trying to steal my info.
Same happened to me about an hour ago and I contacted my cell carrier
Same thing. All lower case and bad punctuation. Not even close to being believable. Even if I did have business with US Bank (which I don't!) why would they send me a text?
I called them back and gave them my credit card (so ******) was not thinking that this could be a scam.
Got this same text this morning. ****** scammers.
Got a text from this number, my husband also got the same text. I have an account with us bank. My husband does not. Called that number, it is NOT us bank. They wanted my card number. Us banks legitimate customer service line does NOT ask for your card number, they ask for you ACCOUNT number. THIS IS A SCAM. A pretty tricky one, as anyone receiving that text would immediately panic and call that number. I only pray that a ton of people just didnt give out their credit/debit card number and pin, and have their accounts drained. Federal trade commission is already on it and shut the number down. WHOO HOO!
We have no business with US Bank.

Got a text saying my US Bank service is frozen, called the number they gave me to see what they would say considering I have no accounts/cards through US Bank. It immediately asked for my 16 digit card number. Funny!
