google was trying to call the # back, I've searched thru NumLookup its a masked VOIP number from Smithers Lake TX

This is a number left by a scammer trying to get your bank information to process a refund due to "I.T." issues

Received a notice on my computer that my computer had been infected (disabled) with a virus (Trojan Spyware) and that my PC had been blocked. It said to contact this number (Security Helpline) for Windows Support. I assumed it was a scam.

Tried selling me workout gear from Facebook and directed me to pay through Facebook. Asked if I could call her "Destiny" but said she was at work in ER. Felt off..

Ask me inappropriate questions, called midnight no answer.

Randall One caller with no number calls me and tells me I am about to be served papers. When I contact the number she gave me, it's a law office that hangs up on me as soon I tell them that I too am an attorney and that this is a very unorthodox call. This is a very suspicious group and I would avoid them at all cost.

The callers attempt to extort money out of you by threatening a fake lawsuit that was supposed brought against you, but they cannot tell the name of the supposed plaintiffs or what jurisdiction they are in.

Tracy These people are ridiculous. They will call up to 7 times in a day and never leave a msg and no answer when you call them back.

A Someone calls several times per day, but do not leave a message. If I answer they hang up. I called it back from another number and they answered by saying "yeah" and then proceeded to say the name of some type of mattress company.

This number keeps calling and hanging up with out saying nothing.

Receiving calls for the above number and research shows it is the Houston Chronicle.  This is my home office line and it has become very disruptive.

I cloaked my call and they said something like "circulation" and that leads me to think its a telemarketer

I have asked them not to call. Told them I am on no call list. They call and hang up when I answer. They call 3-4+ times a day. I have requested them to stop hanging up on me. When I call the number it is answered with "circulation". They drip honey until I tell them to stop. Then they are all about being rude and 'transferring' me. Then they demand my phone number.

Received the phone calls and never left a message.

Houston Chonicle, they want to sell you the Sundays paper. They are the circulation department.

When the machine picked up caller hung up.
