Fake purchase order for Microsoft Defender

Same as others. Interestingly, it gave customer and order numbers but no payment information (what card do they have on file to charge?). Not too savvy a scammer....

To renew my subscription to Microsoft Defender. No idea what that is.

Did not receive a call from this number. This is the number I was instructed to call in an email from, "Microsoft." Microsoft was charging me $399.99 for Windows Defender but because they were just so nice, they were discounting it to just $349.99. Imagine that! Discounting how much money they are trying to steal. That's just incredibly nice for a crook.

Said $345.00 had been charged for Microsoft Defender firewall that I never ordered.

Said I had ordered Microsoft Defender and have not done so. Said in text to call number but I didn't because I didn't trust.

Email sent stating I owe $349.99 for Windows Defender/Microsoft Account. I do not have a Microsoft account and will not be calling the number they have listed 845-241-3416 because this is not legit.

They sent me an email stating tdating that my Microsoft defender was up for renewal when they charged me $399 which I don't have that account so they wanna go inside your computer computer to cancel an order you never had then they have another person call you to go back in your computer and find your bank account to redeposit the money that they never had but want to get money from you.

Said I was charged 399.99 for renewal.

Not a phone call or text, but I received an email from "Microsoft" "renewing" my non-existent firewall software subscription for $399. It came from [email protected], and I sincerely doubt Microsoft ever uses a gmail address. No links to anything. The only contact info included in the email was (845) 241-3416

You have ordered windows defender and if this was not you give us you information we will put the money back in your account

E-email bill sent for microsoft software which I do not have . Note mircosoft does not use gmail addresses.

This number was listed as the customer service number on a "Microsoft order invoice" email. I do not have a Microsoft account.
