(847) 382-1400

My elderly mother got a text msg yes****ay (how she figured to read it is beyond me) in regards to her credit card account security being compromised, with instructions to call 847-382-1400.  She called and got an answering ma****e for "O'Donnell Law Firm".  She later realized it was probably a scam and called me.  I called the number today and the girl at the "law firm" said their phone lines had been hacked yes****ay and they were also "victims".  I am registering a complaing with the Illinois Atttorney General.  http://www.illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/consumers/index.html

This is a scam.  Don't call.  They want you to verify your credit card info.  Tmobile is aware.

WHAT!?! My number is 832.526...... also! Are they calling at random or do they have a list of T-mobile accounts?

Mine's an 832.526.... number.I'm sure they must be working off of some list they've acquired. *shrug*

Its a scam!! People please do not give out any information!! I was so close to give it out but so****ing didn't seem right.

Yeah I've got all the windows open too. This is really strange. I just hope people see these posts.I just can't help but wonder why we received a ton of them all of a sudden, and then, ****, nothing.

I'm in houston too! And we are T-mobile customers. This concerns me..... I think i'll keep a few of these windows open to see if anyone else gets more texts. At least we thought about sear****g online for the number, but what about those that did not???

Thanks. I didn't know about 9549898823 number. Are you by any chance located in texas?  i am, and i also see some texas names on the posts for that number. It's very annoying, and makes me concerned about how these scammers got access to our numbers....

I'm not as worried about myself getting the messages as other people getting them and not knowing what they are..I couldn't figure out what it was about at first and s****ed running all over online.I'm glad everyone had already posted about the 9549898823 number or I'd still be lost.

same here! i keep running into Scorp. I got T-mobile to block the texts from those short codes, but nothing else they can do

Totally crazy. I've been in a typing frenzy. I finally had to open a tab for every phone number so I can keep track of all these posts.

yes... I got the same messages, and last 3 were all within 10 minutes!

T-Mobile is aware that their customers are receiving these messages.They advise NOT to call the number or give these people financial/sensitive information.

The first message I received ask me to call 6626554861.  The second message asked me to call 6185886025.  Third time was for 8478429663.  Other T-Mobile customers have received this message in reference to phone number 9549898823.I don't know what this is but the messages are becoming more frequent.
