This same number called me today, I thought I recognized it so I called it back, but of course, the number receives no incoming calls. I googled it and LOOKY WHAT WE HAVE HERE. I noticed we all seem to have AT&T as a provider, and I must say, me thinks this odd.... MYSTERY NUMBER!!!!!! NOW I HAVE A SOME QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERING!!!!!!!! GO AHEAD AND CALL ME, IM PICKING IT UP THIS TIME. SCARING SOME 78 YEAR OLD WOMAN WITH THREATS, IM NOT 78 YET, MOTHERS! "F.B.I." PUH!!! IM THE FBI, TOO. LETS GET IT DONE.

Pay your Bills, or c****e your phone number.  For those of you who have a unlisted phone number, the collection agencys get your phone number from your hospital records, or doctors office records. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER, IF YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM A PHONE NUMBER GIVE THEM A PREPAID CELL PHONE NUMBER, THAT CAN BE C****ED!PLEASE DONOT GIVE THE HOSPITAL A FRIENDS, OR A FAMILY PHONE NUMBER UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO BE CALLED 10 TIMES A DAY.  Good Luck,& God Bless.

This is the number that shows up on the privacy manager. Instead of giving a name of a person or company, they say "department store." We just **** up and do not accept the call.

that # called our house 2nite around 8pm. the 847-742-0479 came up on the caller i.d. as Privacy Manager. Then after our message beeped, some foreign-sounding guy left a mumbled message about some online order that didn't go through for some prescription. He said to ask for "Bali" at 1-(888)-670-0769. This sounded like a 100% scam scam scam. SCAMMMMMMM!!!

This # as well as various others shown here calls constantly and most of them when I call back (they **** up if the ans. ma****e picks up) the # says it's for outbound calls only. today was the day my husband and I got our iden***y stolen! we are both extremely intelligent and quite frankly street smart! We are in our 50s and can generally spot a scam in a heartbeat. "Danny" from the STL Rams sold us a 3 game pkg. for 2 in the loge area usually $88 each for a mere 46 bucks ea and only another $15 handling! As I enter this I have been on hold to report my credit card as compromised!  Hopefully I can get this done before we get cleaned out! My son sent a message apx 8 minutes later that he had gotten the calls on his cell, which happens to be in my name.  He said he wasn't gonna bother 'cuz he didn't think we'd fall for any of their ****.' We feel dumb as***** and want to warn U all!

I get this call and they ask for me and never say who they are, they just **** up I am non- published so how are they getting my number? I want to be put on the Do Not Call List for this number when you call back it is disocnnected and can't receive calls. Who is this?

calls vevery 5 minutes heard mans voice through privacy manager  kept calling back late at night when i called thev number got message that number was not in service for incoming calls

Same thing happening here...had to sign up with privacy manager for them to stop!  They still come thru but at least I have the phone number now for who is calling...

They called my 78 year old mother and told her they were the FBI looking for my brother and threatend that they could conduct a search of our home at any time' Isn't it illegal to impersonate a federal officer?

I also get this call and it pops up privacy manager. Within minutes this same number dials my cell phone. When redialing, the auto message states the number only accepts outgoing calls only.

Almost daily nuisance that ****s up before privacy manager can identify.

Has called at least 8 times requesting my son who has not lived heresince 1994. Answered once and unable to abtain any information other than he left this number as a contact number to be reached. I ***g phone up.

Phone rings, activates privacy manager. No one responds when I pick up. Supposedly it is an Elgin Il. number. I too am on the do not call list for telemarketers. Wish someone who has paid for the reverse lookup info on this guy would post his information..love to call his house at 6AM.

Here's the deal: This is an iden***y theft scam. As best as I can tell, the calls originate from the Elgin, IL area (from reverse lookup info), but no business or names are****ociated with it. I'm betting if anyone finds a name****ociated with it, it will be fake. Anyway, the caller insisted that a "Claudia Howe" returned a phone call to his "agency" on May 28th from my phone number. He refused to discuss the nature of that call, too. Whatever. "Why should I give a rats a** about any of this?" I asked. He then suggested he had the right number and that we were not telling him the truth about her residing in our home. After a lengthy refusal to play this game on my part, he finally turned the corner in this conversation and "admitted" his agency's database has crashed recently and they have encountered errors like this before. He asked for my information to correct the record that was****ociated with my telephone number. Ah ... patience rewards. AT&T (or any phone company you might deal with, I'm sure) will not help with this one, folks. I called the nuisance hotline they have established and you'll never get a live body on the other end in this century. In fact, they generate some generic letter and basically tell you you're S.O.L. One more reason why I'm going to s**** using cell phones exclusively soon enough. The swine.

Getting calls at all hours of the day/night (like two at 4:30 am) and it is a fax ma****e signal that is heard. Best I can find out is it is originating in Elgin, IL. Cannot find out any info without $$$ for search.Caller ID was 847-742-0479.

Calls from 847.742.0479 s****ed this Sunday morning at 2:50 "AM"  .  I have been do***enting the calls from "Privacy Mgmt" as it appears on my caller id and they are as follows:  (4/8) -8:02am, 8:12, 8:50, 9:58, 1:48, 4:33p, 5:24, 6:40, 7:04p, 7:09p, 7:16p, 7:38, 7:55, 7:56, 8:12, 8:44pm, 9:16p, 9:18pm, 9:28, 9:38, 9:52, 10:12 (4/7)-8:27am, 5:17pm7:48p, 8:35p, 9:33p, 9:47p, 10:03p, 10:10p, 10:17pm, 10:19, 10:31pm, 10:52pm, 10:55pm (4/6)2:47am, 5:24am, 8:59am, 9:21am, 10:28am, 11:29am, 1:02p, 3:46pMy phone service is with AT&T.  I found that by pressing *57, you can run a trace on the call and also by calling (if you are w/ ATT &/or SBC) there is an ATT annoyance call number to call and complain.  It is 800.769.4099.  I was only left a msg and am waiting for them to respond.  Does anyone out there know who and/or what this is?  When redialing, the auto message states the number only accepts outgoing calls only.  Please help!

I received a call from this number at 11:19 AM by Privacy Manager when I answered, my Privacy Manager asked me to press 1, which I did.  The party that identified themselves was a female voice, and it sounded like she said this is Dr. Cooks office calling.  I press 2 to disconnect the call. I do not know anyone in Elk Grove Village. I Googled the number.

I have gotten repeated calls from this number (the last one at 6:53 am today!). I would like to know who I can report this to as my number is on the "do not call" list

I also get this call almost daily and it pops up privacy manager. Within minutes this same number dials my cell phone. I have put a DNC on both my phones so I don't understand why they are able to call.

I get this call almost daily, and when I answer my privacy manager ****s it up. Then within 5 mins they call my grandmother's number. When you call the number back to get on the no caller list the number is disconnected.
