probably a s****ed number sent attachment via Text. I've noticed an up-tick in this type of scammer. It has been reported that the attachment, that most phones are set to automatically download, have a trojan virus that allows access to the othwer apps on the phone (IE bank, credit cards, etc)

I Am on a "Do Not Call.gov" list & this Spammer is getting through; though Not Leaving a Msg! This Spammer uses Many Numbers with Zip Codes from All Over Usa!!!
