I received an email supposedly from Norton Solutions. The sender’s email address was sm2***[email protected]. The email had odd wording, including an incorrect verb tense.

This is a phishing email. scam claiming McAfee has billed you with a fake receipt and "Auto Debit" I followed up with a call and they answered "support" "McAfee Norton" and ask you for the debit / charge card on file vs email, account number etc. Do not fall for this.!!!!

THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM TO GET CREDIT CARD INFO. They say they are from Amazon Business. THEY ARE NOT!!

I was given this numer (850) 203-4451 as a support line for PayPal in connection with a charge that I did not make. When I called the number, I was uncomfortable and refused to give the man any information and ***g up. I then called PayPal and tole them I was concerned about the email and the person I was talking to. I was told that if I received an email from PayPal which instructed me to call a number, it is a fraud email. They then checked my current transactions and confirmed that the fake charge was not on my account. The person at the number in the email was trying to get me to get me to go into PayPal and then do so****ing else. I refused to give them anything and ***g up. I checked the account support number for PayPal and confirmed I was not talking to someone from PayPal when I called the number in the email. This number (850-203-***1) is a number which should not be called.

Received a random text from this number. Identified as Aurthur, acted like he knew me. Real name is Slsin, no other information available on Been Verified.

Called on a Wednesday, telling me my computer was sending a report that it had a virus!!! He wanted to know what kind of computer I had, told him it was a Dell, he was like oh great I’m from DELL!!?? Told him I was looking at ways to **** ppl and get away with it I must have gotten one from it!! He was like Ok can you turn it on, told him no I was driving. Call back tomorrow about 6!! Well guess what he calls back. He said the was *** ( couldn’t catch name) agin he goes I’m from Dell, he goes your computer is still sending reports! I was like yeh I’m still trying to figure out how to get away with ******. ? So he ****s up on me!! Now this is the funny part!!! I DONT OWN A COMPUTER!!! All I have is iPad!!!??? So yes this is a scam!!

He'll even pause after the intial intro for your response, but after that, if you interrupt, it just ****s up on you. Phishing for active phone numbers... BLOCK it like it's hot...
