Received email from them posing as Amazon, telling me a $176 order had been billed and shipped to me (which I didn't order). And they gave me that phone number 850-409-2652 to call if I had questions. I didn't respond to the email, nor call that number, and nothing has been charged to me by Amazon.

Got a letter in the mail today from Whole Foods Market for a survey analyst/evaluator along with a check for $2490.00. I was told to keep $400 and go purchase 4 $500 money orders from post office and leave blank and send back to them fed ex $2000 in money orders along with my evaluation of the post office. I was to text 850-409-1160 and let them know I received assignment. It is on Whole Foods letterhead but they are asking me to evaluate the post office.

The message breaks off to only saying prosecute to the fullest of the law in your state .. I definitely don't have any legal issues

Fake Amazon number: (850)-409-9286 Ronn Anderson C-84, Walls Ave, Wilmington, Delaware 13694, US I'm guessing they are phishing, looking for their next target. Don't call them is my suggestion; doing so will just confirm your phone number for them to harass you.

I received the exact same email. Tracking info is for a shipping company in India.

I received an email on 1/28/21 email claiming a delivery from Amazon to: Ronn Anderson C-84, Walls Ave. Wilmington, DE 13694 for a total of $1099.00 for a Dell XPS Laptop. " They give a customer service phone# of 850-409-9286. Called Amazon and they state they may call looking for infomation so be aware.

Number was on a fake e-mail under an Amazon heading. It was not Amazon. I did NOT call the number. Instead, I checked my Amazon account and there were no new orders under my account. I sent the fake e-mail as an attachment to the special Amazon account that handles spams.

Asked if a $599 credit card purchase had been made and if not call back. Phishing??

Has withdrawn money from acct. /charged on credit card. Call them if I do not accept.

I, too had a scammer left a email message for an computer, just like those complaints above! I called the number to see if I could ask them a question but the number rang for awhile and disconnected.

This was the number to be called to cancel an Amazon order which I had NOT ordered. It was obviously a false email.
