MA Resident no caller id except "*****chusetts",called but left no message. that got them a spot in my Spam contact list. I read elsewhere that it is a fake veterans charity

mb Caller claimed I won a trip to an Orlando resort, a cruise to the Ba*****, a car, meals included, for staying at "one of their hotels." Sounded too much like a scam for me to continue, especially the day after Christmas, so I ***g up without getting more details.

Just got another "BBC Research" call. There is a legitimate survey company called "BBC Research and Consulting", but they're in Colorado, not *****chusetts. They have a web site at http://www.bbcresearch.com/ Interestingly enough, there's a notice on their web site stating "BBC Research & Consulting has been the victim of caller ID s****ing. If you have received unwanted robocalls from a company identifying themselves as BBC Research, please know that these calls are not coming from our company and we have no business involvement with whatever organization has misappropriated our name. We are investigating this matter. We have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). They informed us that they will investigate the matter and let us know what, if any, further action we can take. The call I received launched right into the survey spiel without even mentioning how one can be removed from their calling list, which is what all the real survey calls I've received do. So it looks like this is probably a scam survey intended to sell so****ing and s****ing their Caller ID. Without any corroborating evidence (yet) I have to say it sure smells like the M.O. of Life Giving Moments...

Karen on ymous Called around 9am on Feb. 15 2013, (West Coast). It was a real person. A man asked if we had applied for a job at Wallmart. I told him possibly my graddaughter but he had the wrong phone number and that was more than I should have said and that was the whole transaction.

Its a scam.
