Scammer debt buyers. If you have a debt for a li***ry book of $1.60, they have purchased it!! And now turned that $1.60 into $1600.00 and want it in full by credit card over the phone. They will pester the ever loving **** out of you!!!

Calls multiple times per day.

These guys are a Indian group that is scamming people. I had a pay day loan with a company and paid it off. They been calling me stating I owe them money. I contacted this pay day loan company who said I was clear and that this was an Indian group scamming people. You will get several calls claiming they have the paperwork that you owe them money. These calls will come from different numbers from around the country. There is a script stating you owe money and your attorney needs to call them. One comment is if you don't respond they say I can wish you good luck. They claim they are going to get you to lose your job. Just tell them you've rerported them to the FBI< secret service

GOOGLE: PORTFOLIO RECOVERY HARASSMENTThese pests buy very old junk debts for pennies on the dollar with expired statute of limitation, than use illegal harassment tactics trying to intimidate uninformed individuals to pay money for this junk debt, which is noncollectable since the statute of limitations has long expired. Never ever agree to pay ANYTHING to these law breaking rats, since by doing so you would void your statute of limitation protection. Google: "Portfolio Recovery****ociates Scam" to find out more about their lawless behavior, send a letter requesting validation of debt [Google how to do so] and report them to your Attorney General, the FTC. They have many law suits pending a***nst them. Don't fall for their scam - block their calls, or send a "cease and desist" letter [Google] or simply ignore them, or answer and sing a song or whatever. Fight these slimy roaches!! Good luck!
