This definitely sounds like a scam. The area code says san diego, ca but you can't believe anything you see in caller id anymore. This caller could be calling from pretty much anywhere. The caller is identifying with any number of organizations (all from the same phone number): Food For The ***gry, Salvation Army, Holt International Adoption Agency, MDS Communications, Home Design Center, ECO California, Habitat For Humanity. A couple of weeks ago, people were getting the same kinds of calls but from a different phone number, 877-291-1624, which is a S****ED number: medicare, VFW, St. Jude, Holt International, Salvation Army, Campus Crusade For Christ, etc. It sounds like these are the same people..........just trying to scam people from a different phone number.
