Ashford University is a legit college. It has a campus in Iowa and has an online program based out of San Diego. If you are getting calls and dont knwo why its probably becasue you filled out an online survey or were applying for a job that asked you about college. Requests get sent to several schools, and they have no idea if they are valid requests or not. Ask to be taken off the list, verbage is very important. If they keep calling ask to speak to a manager. They cannot delete peoples inquiries without their permission becasue it is a FERPA violation. The longer you wait to tell them the more annoyed you will get. Not spam. They actually enroll quite a few students through calls like the ones your getting. So if you complain on here, blame yourself for not taking action sooner.

I purchased a new phone the second week of March and since then have been saddled with calls from this number repeatedly. I have told Ashford that I am NOT the person they are trying to reach and have asked to be taken off their list, but still I continue to get calls at least every other day. My phone is a registered business number so its not a simple case of changing my number. Ive reported them to DO NOT CALL and am planning on doing whatever is necessary to get them to stop.

The no call list or a blocker app is the way to go.. These ppl and many others don't listen, I've asked them multiple times to take me off their call list and still they call all day

You have to pickup the phone. Politely or impolitely stop the person from speaking and say please take me off of your list. You have to do this TWO separate times for they will not believe the first time unless you speak with the manager. After that, if you want to stop the other, place your number on a national do not call list and it will block your number for good. Never just hang up because they take this as maybe next time you will be interested.

I have asked them to stop calling and soliciting their stupid college. They will not stop. I am ready to report their stupid asses.

Apparently my mother in law requested information from some school for me. They keep calling over and over, relentlessly. Why can't they take the hint that I'm not interested? What kind of a credible school would continue to hound someone who's obviously not interested? Seriously, there's got to be something better for them to do.

Calls at all hours, starting at 8 am and goes on till 9 or 10 pm at night, this includes saturdays and sundays, needs not to call anymore

Daily calls. Told them I am on the do not call but they keep calling daily. I do not answer anymore.

This was the 2nd call to a cell phone that is listed on the do not call list. The caller was asked to remove the phone number when the first call came in. I will pursue a course of legal action, as my daughter is an attorney. The caller has hung up on me on both occasions.

Someone put your number in, either maliciously, by accident or randomly and it is there so just tell them to take you out and they will. Ignoring it won't help

I keep getting phone calls from this number and I don't answer because of all the telemarketer calls I've been getting lately. They leave a message on my vocemail with some stupid love song. This has happened three times now. My husband was a bit concerned, so I decided to do some research. I'm not amused... Ashford University used to call me a lot before and I told them to stop and that I was on the do not call list, so now they start this? Do they think I'm going to call them back and they can talk me into signing up for their school or something? What's the point? If I was ever thinking about signing up for college they've just taken themselves completely off my list of possible schools.

I requested info. from these people over the internet. Your phone # is required to get info., but why in the hell would you continue to hound someone for not answering the phone to acquire this info. It's a bit ridiculous and I will not attend their school either. No means no. People like these are equivalent to rapist - they take and take - until you can't take it anymore.

Don't know how these bozos got my number, but when I googled the number, it was Ashford Univ out of Iowa. I didn't answer, they left no message. I'm on the 'do not call registry', so they must be random or computer dialing.

This is supposably a college. I have told them I would call them back when I'm ready but they keep calling. I get between 10-15 calls daily from them some calls a few minutes apart. I always ignore their calls. I get emails from them too saying they have been trying to reach me, I respond with take me off their list I do not want to be contacted by them anymore. They are relentless!!! Make them stop!!

No one from our household has ever requested information from Bridgeport Education.  I find these calls to be intrusive and a real annoyance.

If you want them to stop calling just asked to be removed from their Database they do it.

I requested information for online colleges online. Then less than an hour after I requested information I receive a call form this number, first on my phone then on my wife phone. They have called not stop for four days, three to four times a day.

I did NOT request information, yet they continue to call at least once, sometimes twice, a day. This needs to stop!

They called me from 2 diff numbers asking for the same guy, Ramiro. I told them it was my phone and no one else uses it. They said sorry for bothering me.  But, I'm sure I will hear from them tomorrow. They called at noon and again at 9:20PM!

They call NON STOP and I keep telling them to take me off their list before they start talking, they say they will but never DO!
