I saw this on my credit card stmt as Kin*Mawcentral&northflIt turns out is was legitimate! I had dontaed $50 to "Make A Wish" for a walk...
same thing only I donated to the Komack Woman ****** Cancer
I also received a charge from the above phone number. Upon checking I discovered it was legitimate because I too had donated to the Lymphoma society.
I had the same concern when I saw the unfamiliar name/number as a reference on a credit card receipt, but upon doing a search I found it was a donation I made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.
I saw this number, thought it was a bogus charge, but it was legitimate. I forgot I did an online donation for Subway, Heart****ociation of behalf of a friend.
I had a credit card charge from "KIN*LRF 858-795-3090 CA".It turns out it is the Kintera company which provides credit card acceptance for charitable organizations. Mine was a donation to the Lymphoma Research foundation, but a little digging show Kintera also collect donations for many other causes.
I have no idea who it was.
I donated $25 to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Chicago and a $25 charge with this # and "Chicago" showed up on my charge. I think that is what this number is.
