I received a call from this number, but didn't answer. Tried to delete the number from my call list of received calls on my cell phone but was unable too. Had to call technical support with my phone carrier in hopes to delete the number from my phone. Did anyone else have this trouble?

I received a call on my cell phone from this number on 01/04/2011... AND after 8 PM EST to top it off. I didn't answer since I had no clue who it was. I don't know anyone in this area code. They left no message. If they call a***n, I will try & figure out some more info. I have no clue where they got my #; I hardly ever give it out. However, having worked in Security and Intelligence, I know it's not that difficult to obtain lists of personal info; especially phone#'s.If I can find out anymore info on this I will post it. I'll also try and keep an eye on this discussion, so if anyone can post any additional info that may help, please do! Thanks for any help. Didn't answer, no message left. Called twice.

First time they called I did not answer, they did not leave a message. They called a***n later, it was a recording in Spanish.

Spoke in spanish.

This number called my cell and didn't leave message. I won't call back. I don't know anyone from the KY area that would call.

just had a call from this number 859 671 8989 at 1:58 ET today Jan 07, 2011 with a voice of a spanish woman

i got a few of these calls also on a new cell phone number of the cell phone i got for christmas... and goggled the number... according to the posts that i have read and i read all of them ..this is a calling scam because number one.. they want you to press 1 hoping you will think you won 1000 dollars... then ..2..if you proceed with the caller..they want your credit/debit card number ..3..they also want the 3 code pin on the back of you card..do not give any of your personal information to these people at all or they will clean out your bank accounts...i have reported them to www.fbi.gov.

Received call from 8596718989 on corporate cell phone. I use this phone for outgoing only and am on a do not call list. I didn't answer, no message was left.

Got a call and they didn't leave a message.  Looks like they called everyone under the sun today around the same time I have seen several posts.

My husband got a call from this number and then 2 hrs. later I did on my phone. We didn't get either call, and they did not leave a message. We tried calling back, and it just went to a busy signal.

you're scared?  I'm f***ing annoyed.  It's been a while but just got another call from this ****ty #.

Spanish speakinf

They call in Spanish. My phone is on the do not call list.

It's a Spanish Speaker recorded voice. They tell me to press 1 for this and 2 for that. They've been calling me several times already since last week.

Was called on my cell phone. They left a message, my bilingual friend translated it. Supposedly I won a $1000 and I should press 1 to claim the prize. Another scam. Wish I knew how they got my number.

I have received several calls from this number over the last several months.  Yes, the message is in Spanish and i have no idea what they are saying.  This should be investigated and stopped as this is clearly phone spam.

I've received a call from this number a few times...I answered it one time and immediately ***g up as I do not know Spanish.  Going to try and block it.

Just called me... a cash register noise, then some spanish....

just rcvd one too...11:20 EST. My number is not listed, supposedly. Same thing happened here; loud background noise then lady speaking spanish. STOP CALLING ME

Received a call from   859-671-8989 on my cell phone , and looked up via google and it directed me to the UPS Tracking Number Look up page.

This is the same thing I experienced.  With my Samsung Impression I was able to add this number to a block list but apparently it was just on the phone and not on the line itself as I now have an iPhone and they are able to call me a***n.

spanish speakers always calling interrupting me

this is the second time I've had a call from this #.  It sounds like a business as this time there was a cashrgister ring up of some sort and then a person came on the phone speaking spanish. I do not speak spanish and they justput the phone down or so****ing as it did not disconnect just silent.  I ***g up.
