They called me and said my name was used as a reference for a job by so and so (which I was unaware that my name was being used by this person), and they want me to give her a message. Sounds odd that I am a reference for someone and they want me to deliver a message to them. I asked them to take me off,their list cuz this person did not have my permission to use me as a reference,ever.

They are National Credit Adjusters. They are a debt collection agency. They buy the debts of payday loan companies. They call and leave messages like, I'm a process server and we are trying to locate the whereabouts of (name). They do that to scare you so you will call them back.
