I was trying to buy some decorated strawberries off of marketplace. She charged $25 for 12. I paid by Apple Pay. Today, February 13, I was supposed to meet the person in Jacksonville, NC at roses. The person wouldn’t return messages or answer texts. Finally around 12, the person said she was at work and could have them ready at 4. I asked if I could change it to 5:30. I asked again to change it to 5. They said no problem. They said they were on their way. They said they were in a white jeep and 10 minutes out. They said they were there parked next to a ford van. I drove around the parking lot many times. They were not there. I tried messaging on messenger. The messages wouldn’t go through. I texted a few texts on the phone number. They did not answer. It says a voicemail was not set up. I went back to messenger, the listing is deleted and the profile is missing. I was scammed out of $25.
