Not a scam. Power to my street was shut down and they were just updating the public

They call to make sure your power is back on if you have made a trouble report. It would be helpful if the identified themselves when they make these calls!

It is a CL&P number, I don't use their service so it's unclear why they called.

Didn't answer, no message left

This number is legitimately a CL&P attempt to locate someone who owes them money based on the phone number they have on record. I called their main number 800 947-200 and weaved through the menus to talk to someone about it. They had my number****ociated with 3 different addresses and at least one of them (not mine) was delinquent. Do yourself a favor and call them up to disassociate your number from the delinquent customer's address. It may stop this and many other harrassment calls in the future.

Missed a call with this number.  Had no idea who it was until I did a reverse lookup.  I do not owe any $$ to CL&P or any other utility.

same thing happened to me I am not even currently living in ct.

Got a call from this number saying they were calling from CL&P and that my account was o[past due. I do not have a past due balance with CL&P

Got a call but didn't pick it up. No message left. Don't have any debts to Connecticut as far as I know...
