I believe this number that called me....865-380-3190 is from Clayton Homes, as I had sent an inquiry to them a few days ago.
BKC This number keeps calling...one right after the other. We have never had a loan with them...EVER! We are on the DO NOT CALL LIST but they call. How can we report them???

EPW Do not know anyone from AC 865 so I rejected the call. I see from previous posts that this a spammer. Added the number to my phone's "Reject Calls List". End of problem until they change their number.

Freaking Vanderbilt!!!!! Will blow your phone up
They called my dad saying it was really important and they really needed to talk and he yelled at them and hung up on them.
I hope that when Vanderbilt mortgage stands in judgement, Our Lord will have mercy on them.

Just like "t" said, and they are still at it, just now got called asking about a neighbor. :)And yeah, all debt-collectors "knows" everyone is a liar. Been on the receiving end of that before, the guy just could not understand I didn't know I'd been taken to court and lost a case and was never notified that I owed money until he called. Funny laws we got huh? It was from co-signing my son's apartment that him and his buddies trashed. Imagine coughing up $4023 with one days notice.Being retired on disability and having a headset for my portable phone I've talked to telemarketers for up to an hour several times, that's the best way to get your number off their list, in my experience. ;-)Nothing quite like having "fun company" while doing a load of wash and hanging them out on the line too. "I feel sorry for you" "I'm just making up for the time you've wasted of others, how's it feel? :D"When asked for a the credit card's 800 number, I give 'em the numbers for 1-800-eat-s**t. LOL :)It's a porn-site ...from what they tell me. LOL :)Is there any money to be had from getting-called-back, after telling them not to call anymore? That's would be soooo cool. xD
WHO CALLED ME
I also received a call from Clayton Homes (865 380-3190) AFTER telling them DO NOT CALL! if I wanted to talk to a live person, I'd call them myself. I guess they're not interested in my business.
Clayton Homes
Got a call on my cell.
Keeps calling our place of business asking for an employee. Calls multiple times a week. We do not allow personal calls during working hours. They are becoming quite a nuisance!
tell them to take your name and number off their list. I had to do this. Told them IF they called again charges would be filed and there would be a suit brought up against them. Vanderbuilt Mortguage is BAD about this!!! Have had some rude and ignorant people in the past. This worked like a charm, told them they were in violation of the FAIR DEBT COLLECTION ACT. Tell them you do NOT know your neighbors nor do you ever speak to them. Like I said once I brought up the words Fair Debt Collection Act the guy started to get smart with me but I told him I knew what it was and that he'd better stop calling. Haven't heard a word ever since!!!
BTW, they get your number by looking it up, your neighbor probably never gave you as a contact, they will look up your address in relation to the loan address and that's how they get your number unless it's unlisted then they can't. They also if they have maiden names will contact the people's realatives too, the same way. Have a friend that used to be in collections and she told me they are crafty and have no honor, they get paid a bonus on all the money they get collected.I remember one time I had a (cell bill) that I hadn't paid yet, the day my mom died from cancer, the guy called me I was on the way out the door to make funeral arrangements for her and the guy actually cursed me out, said he was glad my mom died and that I was probably lying. I told him I couldn't deal with his JUNK at that time and he hung up on me! So point is some of these people have no restrictions on the things they say and will do as long as it get's them their bonus. My friend quit collections because she was to nice and wouldn't be mean and she didn't approve of how the other's were talking and acting (was very proud of her). She ended up getting a much higher paying job in the company after doing so without having to degrade people.
They called me about a neighbor, too. The guy who called said that they had my number as a contact number. These people would never have given my number as a contact for them. In the 12 years that I have lived here I've spoken to them maybe twice.
Collections department for Vnaderbilt/Clayton Homes
Any clue where this is from?
They leave no message I do not own a Clayton moble home or any other moble home, nor do I have a morgage with their sister company. There is no reason for this company to be calling my number.
constantly calls
I am in Alabama. This number was on my caller ID at work this morning from 5:01 pm yesterday (5-12-09). I don't use Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance and I don't give out my work number for personal use.
They keep calling me about a neighbor. I do see or speck to this neighbor.
the call is coming from CMH (Clayton Mobile Home) owner of Vanderbilt mortgage out of maryville tn. Its probibly a collections call
I don't know who this is, and they didn't leave a message. It didn't come up as a mortgage company, but instead, CMH Services, whatever that is.
Clayton Vanderbilt Mortgage called three times today. My husband told them last week to stop calling. The phone they are calling belongs to my 13 year old and his number has been the same for two years. We have never even set foot on a mobile home sales lot. The company claims that they are unable to stop the calls because we don't have a reference number. I do not believe for a second that they don't have a way to look up accounts by telephone number.
Caller left no message, do not know what they want. If they left a message it would be a way to see what they wanted.
I called the number back and found this is Clayton Vanderbilt Morgage. They don't leave a message. There are complaints against them online..Thanks
called, no message. I don't know anybody that lives in a trailer
