This is a lottery sweepstakes robocall scam. They want you to send them money for them to release the winnings.

Spoofed telephone number. Blocked number.

It was regarding student loan forgiveness programs. I've gotten calls from various numbers about this and they all say I'm ineligible or hang up on me when I start asking questions.

The person said I had to apply for the student loan forgiveness TODAY. Weird. Im in Canada.

They said I need to give them my information in order to forgive my student loans

This is a scam.

Called twice two hours apart. Left a voice message the second time saying they were calling about my student loans that will resume collecting payment in January 2022 but I was eligible for loan forgiveness. Paul said that I need to call him back at 866-205-8004 to finish the application for loan forgiveness.

Paul Avery calling about student loans, reminding me that my "temporary hardships for Barents will be ending January 31, 2020" and that "loan repayment will resume automatically." Supposedly, I'm "eligible for student loan forgiveness programs." I have student loans, but no connection to Barents and I am currently in school and as such, I don't have to begin repayment yet.

No caller, just rang and hung up.

Rob I keep getting calls from these guys multiple times of the day and all I get is a "please hold while we get a representative" over and over. One time I waited for a few minutes and no one answered so sounds like an auto dialer scam. Even checked and we have ZERO business with them in any way and we don't have a mortgage so I plan on blocking the number. They call at ridiculous hours of the morning and night.

Lynn Staude We get calls every day, throughout the day (except Sunday), starting at 8:01AM being the earliest, and 9:00PM the latest. Since we screen calls, when the answering machine picks up, it's either an immediate hangup, or a 5-10 second delay before they hang up. This has been going on for months.

Dookie Blanket Claimed I'd filled out a form for a vacation. Told them no and never call again. She tried to transfer me to her supervisor. I told her forget it and hung up. Didn't hear back.

Dave Liquid Education. There may have been a job hunting site that you went to, which sold your number to these guys. Just block them from calling if your phone can do so; then they can't call any more. If you can't do that, then register this phone number on your contact list as "Scam Education", then whenever they call you can stop the call or hang them up.

Get a Skype account that lets you call land lines.. make sure caller ID is disabled. Create two contacts one for the two main IMPARK IQOR callout lines... 8668011526 and 8662053071Now call one number and immediately add the second to the call.. it will be clunky the first time but it sets up the entry so its one click for fun time..Then just click the call list entry that has both now on the left side of you Skype and it will call both lines at the same time.. mute your mic and enjoy..Payback is a b***h

They started asking intimate questions so I put them on hold to look up their number and this page is where I was led. They said that they were from B&D, but when I called that number back: 1.800.266.0333 the message was the 'Ontario Police Services Information Center.' ???????Anyway, thought I'd post.....Fishy at best!

Tell them the person they are looking for does not reside at the residence they are phoning... even if it's you. Ask to be removed from the list. I just tried this. I'll let you know if it works.

Alex These people called my place of business and requested confirmation on some details including our address, number of employees, services offered, and owner's name. They went on to ask which institution we do our banking with and other suspicous questions. Why would they need to know this? Caller avoided questions as to the purpose of the call, so I hung up. Scam!

They are ridiculous; they call 2-6 times a day, 7 days a week. They leave a voice message every 3-4 days and leave the same message. The name they are calling for isn't even me. Does anyone know how to stop them from calling?? I don't even know how they got my number. I don't have debts so I don't know why they're calling to collect a debt.

pam Called our business - already had alot of our information but then started questioning the structure of our business - shareholders, etc.  When I asked more questions she was very elusive, talking quickly and inaudibly - which leads me to believe that this is not a reputable call or they would be more forthcoming with info.  Do legitimate business have 866 phone numbers?

These ppl call my work twice a week, how the crap did they get my work number, first of all?!!  They say I have parking tickets.... I asked what address I was ticketed at??  They can't even tell me that.  I've heard these people are a scam and they tell you it is possible for you to clear your ticket by giving your credit card no. that should be a red flag right there.  They just called me again and I told them the girl they were looking for no longer works at this firm.  She moved to California and ISN'T COMING BACK!  The guy appologized profusely and said they would remove this number from their list.  WHO KNOWS WHAT THAT MEANS.  Guess I'll find out next week .........They totally try and scare you by saying they are collections canada, they are scam artists waiting for their next credit card victim who is scared they are collections canada.  Hilarious.  You have no legal obligation to give them the time of day.  Parking tickets come in the mail, not by phone from some foreigner scammer who can hardly speak english.

Irene This number has been showing up daily for the past two weeks.  No message is left. I have call screened this number and it still gets through. How is that? When I attempt to call screen it again the message says "This number is already on your list. How is this possible. I pay for a call screen service and the number gets through.

Toronto Business Just got a call from these people. The caller id was blank, generally not a good sign, and as soon as I answered the phone, the caller starts reciting my business name and address then mumbles his company name. He claims to want to update their information on my company. No explanation as to why or what for. I'm not going to give out information over the phone to an unknown company (blank caller id and mumbled id) for an unknown reason.

I tried calling them back, but it was very difficult to hear what they were saying. I continued to try over and over again, to no avail. Eventually after many, many tries, I gave up. I ask him how much he wants, and he says they are just a financial operation and they are not a collections agency.Then I say, that I can't find out how much the fine is, and I can't get you to stop the machine autodialling me? And he says the financial spiel about how they only deal with the finances, and are not a collections agency and they don't know any details. They are just calling to inform me that I owe the debt and it is past due. And I ask him "How much is due?", and he does the financial operation b.s. again.Then he says there are two ways to deal with this: pay Impark (Advance Parking) and get them to clear my name, or we can clear it up today. I ask him how they can clear it up today, if I don't know how much to pay. He says the spiel about the financial company not a collection agency again. And then I grit out "HOW MUCH?!!" and he tersely replies "$138.90!". Then I asked how he knew the amount if he didn't know any details. He said "What?" And I repeated my question, and asked him why he didn't just come out and say it. Then he gave me the financial operation baloney again and hung up... a mere moment before I could!Total jerk! Parking lots should not be able to get away with this. I'm going to write my MP.

They call my house at least 5-10 times a day--first once an hour, then twice, then about every fifteen minutes. I have caller ID so do not answer but it's super annoying...leave a message if it's so important, don't call back 10 times a day!! That's typical Bell Canada for you...

1-866-205-9726 How do they get our cell numbers?  I use my cell for family and clients only so I do not hand it out to people, don't put it on any paper work anywhere, not even with the AMA.

Want the calls to stop? Own up to your debt, call the number and either make arrangements to resolve it or provide proof why you can't. The reason your on a dialer is because your avoiding your obligation. Grow up!

They never say anything and, even after a minute, never speak. I don't like this. It is annoying because I don't know who it is.

OK ... the number is a Bell number.  I called 310-BELL and they gave me the number and e-mail address for the organization that is the last resort for Bell complaints (1-866-317-3382 or e-mail [email protected]).When I called the number, the attendamt told me that the number was primarily used for Bell promotions.  So she offered to have my number put on their "Do not call list" and she gave me a confirmation number if the problem persists and I have to call back.  Only draw back is that it takes 2 to 4 weeks for it to take effect. So when calling that number to remove yourself from that auto dialer, remember to get the confirmation number.

Myra Just received a call from this number, identified my workplace, and there was no one on the line. A bit creepy. Perhaps they only target people at home.
