they wanted to know if we needed any do***ents shredded, they were offering this service free for AARP members this Sunday on Third Avenue
Wendy N. This company continuously calls my number. Calling the number on my caller ID or the number given in the message does absolutely no good. They refuse to take my number off their list and they've even ***g up on me. Sometimes these calls come in around 3-4 times a DAY! I called the number back to get the name of the company and to advise them that they will be reported if they call this number a***n. The man sarcastically says "OOOOHHH! You really sound like you meant that!". I told them that I was recording the call. He said "Did I give you permission to record me?..You do realize that's illegal? Well, now I have to report you!" I laughed and told him to go right ahead...we'll have a contest on who reports whom to more agencies. This is the 3rd internet site I've reported this harassment besides the Atty. General and the BBB. They call themselves the "Home Owners Help Center" and their website is www.ucanstopforeclosure.com
Gave the company name as Performance Technologies, would not tell me what their company did. All the caller did was continue to ask me to verify who I was when I asked them to verify what their company did. I asked them specifically if they were a bill collector, job board, Dr office and they said "We are none of those three" I then let them know that I would google their name and phone number to find out who they are and what they do then told them to have a nice day. They were still talking when I ***g up on them.
