Anonymous ***her keeps receiving calls stating a civil suit is filed a***nst him and he can c****e the date, when you call the number back it states its a corporate office but no further information is give.

Jason McAfee Persons from this phone number called my relatives, threatening with a Civil lawsuit. The comments they made regarding a civil lawsuit a***nist me, is not how things are done in California.

Getting sued for a past due medical bill

Told computer was blocked due to a trojan and to call number for security reasons. Did not call. Fixed the problem myself... DO NOT CALL THE SCAMMERS.

Popped on computer desktop as Windows Security and said my PC was locked. I was told that I had to call the number to unlock my computer.

Said my computer had been compromised. Do not turn off, as it would cause access to my records.

Popped on computer about a trojan virus. Res****ed computer and wasn't there.

Said my Mac computer had a Trojan and all bank passwords been stolen. Told to call 1 866 270 0095 to unlock computer.

He said he had identified people contacting my computer to collect data from my accounts

Individual said he was from Microsoft calling to unblock my computer

Urgent return call regarding a file

that they were trying to serve me papers on a master card credit card. been trying to find me for 6 months. called my business and told my boss they were trying to serve me. yet they were ****** enough to be laughing and making jokes???

Roberto I got a letter and says; “please contact our office at 800-4370561 within 10 days of receiving this notice regarding adjustments of your credit accounts”. The thing is i don’t have depth to be negotiated. Be aware its scam.

Calls me constantly on my cell and does not identify themselves. They just say that they are calling about a credit card debt and immediately ask me for my checking account information.

Seriously?? I just received a call from the Ca***ian Bureau of Credit and Collections from this number. This guy said that he needed me to call him ASAP because he has good news about so****ing they sent in the mail. Made it sound like a sweepstakes or so****ing. All I had to do was call back and give them the account number he left in the voice mail. Honest collectors? Sorry but if you're going to lie to get people to call in, you're not exactly trustworthy or a company I'd want to deal with. I've had issues with a student loan and was ripped off my a debt collection agency ARC who took my money and didn't put it towards the debt owed, so no, I'm not dealing with them or companies like them. I'm going to deal with the source. There are ways people end up owing money, but there are places out there that give decent collectors a bad name. There are people like that on both sides... collectors who just want to get what they can from people and people who just won't own up to responsibilities. There are good ones too on both sides, but an instant red flag for me is lying right off the hop in a voice mail. Be honest and let the chips fall where they may...

Bankrupt Credit Bureau Ca***a Collections, on behalf of the Royal Bank. The worst collection agency, agent Raj called me a thief, because I was laid-off and wasn't able to pay him $1400 now ($934 + $466 interest) He claimed they will garnish my EI payment, and seize my bank account.They alternate between several phone numbers, the other is 647-788-4090, presumily to not have the same number show up too often in caller id displays. As they do call more often than is permitted under the law in ontario. As I had already talked to them several times in a week, I said why are they still calling every day, the Ontario law limits how often they can call, Raj said, I don't care about Ontario, we're based in BC. He acts as it's his own money.

Auto dialer calls repeatedly even though person they are seeking is unknown to me. I've had this phone number over two years and don't know who had it before me. Despite knowing these facts, this agency still calls me several times a week.

junker Same Story        First a guy called re collection for Royal Bank , told him he wasn't making sense. Now the autodial  cals have sarted. Just punch  O couple of times you will get a diconnect.

I keep getting telemarketing phone calls from the phone number: (866) 270-6730 Almost every single time (if not every time) the person (or automated calling ma****e) never says anything or leaves any messages. I have told hem to stop calling, but they haven't. They call me like 20 times a day, everyday (even holidays). The name on the Caller ID is "TOLL FREE CALL" (in all caps), and the number is the one I said above (8662706730). What should I do?

Not in Debt I called back on 1-866-270-0235 and the call was answered very quickly. They were looking for someone I had never heard of. The number was removed from their database and the lady said it would take 48hrs to completely take effect.

These idiots keep calling for Jenny Kline, who never had this number, at least not in the past 45 years and if you call them back, they just put you on hold forever

Iron Horse Rider Called and spoke to these folks re messages being left on a relatives ma****e.  Upon asking who they were, I was told it was Credit Bureau Ca***a Collections, on behalf of the Royal Bank.  Call was answered quickly, no computer menu, person promised to remove the number from the list as it is not in anyway connected to who they are seeking.

This person continues to call and even at my job.

might Same with me. I've had a message from this number every single work day for the last two or three months. The automated message says "This message is for ______. We have made numerous attempts to contact you about this urgent matter. Please call back at _____." I'm not going to call some random phone number. If you leave me a polite message, with information about what the call is about, I'd be happy to call back.

Idiots from 24 Hour Fitness. I faxed request asking not to be contacted at work number. Same day, received ANOTHER call. I thought it was illegal for a collection agency to contact someone twice in one day!!

They are trying to collect a debt from me which I never incurred. NEVER, owned the credit card indicated, wrong SS#, wrong date of birth and wrong address!! A real collection of *****s there!!

866-270-3638 calls several times a day. I never answer though. I called the number back once and a recording said I had reached "American Express" and asked me to leave a message. Completely bogus.

I don't answer, but am left an recorded message asking me to call this number back, 1-866-270-1612. The first part of the recording is cut off.
