A person named Craig called to verify the address and phone number of my sallie mae loan. Since I am very skeptical about giving out personal information, I just asked him for his name and phone number and I will call back. I called Sallie Mae at 888 272-5543 and verifyed my info. I called 4 times back the original number and ***ody answers. I wonder if it is related to certain kind of scam. Be carefull !

I have gotten 15 calls from this number today. I actually got a live person and I told them to stop calling me. Was an annoying lady who sounded like she was chewing on so****ing. The calls kept coming in and I just don't answer. The first call came in at 6:03 am!

they called at 1045am from that number i never answer numbers i don't recognize and this was one of them they call at all hours it's very annoyingh as i am a college student and any sleep i get is crucial..no message was left either and when they do leave one its just a click sound

Sallie Mae is the most unorganized company, if you can get your loans through someone else then do it.  Don't give them your phone number, they call you constantly.

Number called me. I said*****o. Girl giggling on the other end. No response. I ***g up!

The man said his name was Mark, a loan consultant, from Sallie Mae. He kept asking me all these questions about my loans and *****ing really awful jokes. I felt awkward just giving away information, and i think i may have given him my social security number. Today is December 5th and the time is 10am. I am located in burlington Vermont

That number, 866-363-8525 just called me an hour ago.  I did not hear it ringing and they did not leave me a message.

They called me and I let it go to voicemail, since it's an 866 number.  It left a voicemail, but there wasn't a message (it just clicked off).  W***ver they are, I'm tempted to pick up and give them a piece of my mind, even if it's a recorded message.
