I keep getting this call

I keep getting this txt as well.  I was informed that there is nothing any of us can do about these 5-digit numbers that are txt'd to our cellular phones and that the FCC can't do anything about it.  Just don't answer 'em.  I absolutely agree with MKEDave regarding free public access numbers.  When the internet first came out, you could look up any phone number without having to pay for it.  Now, everybody wants to charge for anything and everything.  I've gone back to using the faithful ole yeller (yellow pages) or white pages, whichever is the case.  I urge everyone to go back to some of the simpler ways of doing things.  That should put these guys out of business.

Same as Ben, received text saying call for chance to win 50k. FCC who controls this stuff? If you're a business, legally conducting business, identify yourself. I don't answer any number that doesn't, but maybe Big Brother should make it illegal to fail to identify the phone number. Or hay here's a radical idea, how about all phone servo services operating on the US, must provide the public free accsess to a directory with revers look up? Rather than charging for what should be public information.
