TIcked Off Got this call a couple of times. When I answered, I didn't always get someone on the other end. This time someone was there. He was Charlie and new with the company so I should take pity on him and put in a good word for him. I told him repeatedly I was not interested. The magazines they wanted to send me were great (Reader's Digest, Ca***ian Geographic, Horse Journal, Macleans, etc.) but I told him straight out that I was not giving any information over the phone to someone I couldn't find on the internet while he was talking. He went on and on about his personal preferences in magazines and Air Miles and how many he had, yadda yadda yadda. Finally, his supervisor, Carly came on and I went through the exact same thing with her. I refused to give her any personal information but they try to be conversational and get you to spill the beans. I finally flat out refused and she went into the legal liabilities of my credit card usage and that I could get it back. Why would I want the hassle to begin with? Can Read Services, boo. Do not talk to them. Be straight up front and hopefully it works for you. They called me from 888-666-4410 and said their head office is in BC.
