R. M. G. W. Called about a lawsuit for $5000 from a shopping network. Even knew my SSN last four digits. They started negotiating a lower amount and I told them I had no money. They said they would call me back the next day, that was May 21at and I haven't heard back. This is the second time this has been tried in me. Beware because I'm a retired senior citizen and I'm sure they knew this.

Same as the rest, civil action about to be filed, left a case # and this 866 number to call back. I have a recording app on my phone so when I called, I told them, "this is a recorded line." They replied, "then I'll be hanging up." Reported them to better business bureau. Never heard from them again.

Tee Called to state that papers were going to be served at my home within the hour. She wanted to know if I would be home to avoid being served at my place of employment.

JL This is a scam, They just called me this morning from some law firm in CT. Just ignore the call and whatever you do, don't call back.

They called me. UH! saying their are going to file a civil lawsuit. AND! a processor sever is going to come to my home. AND! I said, I wouldn't be home. They said, they can serve anyone in my home. Is that true? They said, they made numerous attempts to contact me. But! I never got one thing. Except this call saying in order to stay out of court tomorrow. I have to give them $500 over the phone. The woman I spoke with her ext is 131.

that is the collections department for first bank of delaware/thinkcash/plain green loans. if someone you know took a loan and used you as a reference sometimes they will call that number to try to get a hold of the original debtor. you can call back they'll pull up an account by the phone number and you can verbally ask them to remove your number if the debt is not yours and they will. they're not always the most polite people but it is not a scam they are a legit company. they were originally under first bank of delaware but then sold their accounts to a different bank who now offers their loan. just call the number back ask why youre getting calls if its not your name on the loan then ask to be removed plain and simple.

oh and ps its not an auto dialer and theyre not scammers sitting at cubicles.

What "Yall Never Know'" says is exactly what scam operators would like you to believe.Ignore calls from scammers fishing for information.  "either you took out a loan from them or some took one out with your information" -- no, not likely.  The most likely scenario is they have computers randomly dialing thousands of phone numbers, waiting for a "warm body" to answer, then the computer switches the phone call to one of the scammers sitting in a cubicle.

Its a debt collector from First Bank Of Delaware. They are obviously calling because either you took out a loan from them or some took one out with your information, so if this is a mistake you might want to try and talk to them so your crdit dont get messed up.

ive received many calls from this number. The first time i answered there were two ladies talking in the background. However when i answer the phone now my cell phone just cuts out. Also when i try calling back it is always busy. This is very annoying and has got to stop.
