Leave a CommentA $200 Amazon card was purchased and my account has been compromised.
2 robo calls with in 30 min; said from Amazon fraud; I know Amazon does NOT make unsolicited phone calls,. I called Amazon customer service provided at my amazon account and reported call advising me of $200 purchase--they checked my account (as I had online) and no attempt has been made. I never call the #'s provided by these types of calls. I worked 20 yrs for Parole Board & Department of Corrections and I know scams when they come via phone or email but I feel for all those getting these calls who are scared into returning the call to the # provided and becoming victims. I sure do wish there was more that could be done to get the word out that Amazon, Medicare, Social Security, most state and federal agencies DO NOT MAKE UNSOLICITED PHONE CALLS---
