The text said that my subscription to Norton LifeLock was going to renew yes****ay apparently and I have never use this service ever I haven’t even gone on their sites to look at it I use a VPN and I am safe I don’t need them and I never had a subscription and they’re trying to get $389 out of me but so far I don’t see anything missing from my bank still need to check my CC’s

I just received a text that said that my renewal for this Norton 1 LifeLock service is going to renew and it was $389 I have never used this service I don’t even look at it and I never had a one year subscription with them ever I use a VPN I don’t need them.

The man behind this phone number had a middle eastern accent, claiming to be Craig Fergal born in germany. He wooed my sister for several months, then claimed due to Covid he was about to loose his house and needed to come up with 8 grand. My sister told him she was on a fixed income and he asked for one thousand dollars for paperwork fees to sell his home. She said no, he asked that she ask her sister for the money and told him no a***n. Next he asked for gift cards for her to buy and take pictures of....she blocked him

This phone number was****ociated with an email I received that said it was from McAfee and that my account had been charged $389.99 for a Firewall. I don't use McAfee. I have the name of a person who has this number in TX. But it IS NOT the name that was on the email that stated they were charging me $389.99 for McAfee protection. I believe this may be some kind of fraud.
