is it a hoax?

mo Got call saying I won prize but must pay tax to some body they will send before I can collect prize. Knowing this is scam told them not interested.That night around 12 oclock got call from same people, when told them to stop the harrassment they called back seven times in a row caller id indicated  a Jamaican number.Could this be a phoney number originating here and should I report it
