Sean R. They withdrew $28.87 from my checking account without my authorization. I called the number (877) 208-6230 on the transaction electronic check. A lady named Paulin told me that they are not Web Intel Retail Inc. (it's payer's name on el. check) but they collect fees for them. She told that the charge is for website subscription but could not provide the name of the website. The fact is I have not subscribed to any website and did not authorize them to withdraw money from my account. Beware of them. I'm going to file Police report.

Austin Kulp As the marketing communications manager for Childrens Cancer Recovery Foundation (CCRF), I am both dismayed and disturbed to hear that individuals are using our children with cancer to prey on well-meaning donors. Phone scams, whether real or suspected hurt legitimate charities like ours. Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation raises funds for its programs through a telemarketing company. However, it is entirely possible that there is a phony telemarketing scheme using our name. We have earned the GuideStar Exc****e Seal. Every donation helps us advance our mission. If you are at all concerned that the call you’re receiving is a scam, please call our office at 1 (800) 238-6479 or e-mail us at [email protected]. Feel free to use our online donation system at www.childrenscancerrecovery.org.

a guy who identified himself as Paul Carter from American Broadband called me. I told him this was an unauthorized line and there was no reason for him to call me (Secured Line at our office). I told him to direct me to a supervisor which he refused to do. He told me "That's not a good approach" and offered to remove our number. We are a Military Contractor and have several secured/encrypted lines that are not to be used for anything but official US Government business. They are under investigation for calling a restricted number.
These people advertised a do it yourself credit repair kit. This is a scam so please don't give them any information
I called verizon and they cannot figure why this number is calling. They plan to report this to their investigation office. I will report this number to the FBI to ensure it is not a scam. I had same issues as reported above. Best thing to do is not even give your name or number if they ever have a live person on the phone. FBI with verizon's help should be able to trap them if this is truly a scam.
