Leave a Commenta guy who identified himself as Paul Carter from American Broadband called me. I told him this was an unauthorized line and there was no reason for him to call me (Secured Line at our office). I told him to direct me to a supervisor which he refused to do. He told me "That's not a good approach" and offered to remove our number. We are a Military Contractor and have several secured/encrypted lines that are not to be used for anything but official US Government business. They are under investigation for calling a restricted number.
I got a call from a female claiming to represent a company who now owned my phone company's lines (Verizon). She asked to speak to the person in charge of our phone business and asked how much we were paying. She said they could give us cheaper service. I told them I would contact Verizon and ***g up.
