Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation (CCRF) uses telemarketing to raise funds for its programs. We instruct the telemarketing team to explain that CCRF gives financial aid to families with children living with cancer, and we also donate toys and games to help making living with childhood cancer more bearable. When contacting****ential donors, telemarketers working with CCRF are directed to ask for a donation, and then credit card or personal information if the****ential donor says yes; the telemarketer will then only call 3 times per year. If the person does not answer, they are rolled back in to the calling system. We recognize the importance for telemarketers to respect****ential donors and those on the National Do Not Call List. Please be advised that telemarketers should not be able to call your phone number once it has been on the National Do Not Call List for 31 days. at least once a day, no answer, no message, no concern for calling outside of "normal" awake hours

keeps calling daily and never leave a message. How to block this number? I've tried but my local block service (Verizon) does not allow blocking 1-800 number!

I have been getting this call twice a day (9 am and 1pm) for over a months now. I never picked up but the calls continue on and the callers never leave a message.

These people call and are busy chatting with someone and don't even have the courtesy to say, "Hello!". I answer the phone despite what I am doing. And as for donations, will someone give me some so I can set up....what...my doctor's bills?

This 877 number has called 4- 5 times each day everyday 9 am- 5, or 6 pm. Once I answered it out of curiosity. The woman addressed me by name, even though my # is non-published and non listed. Some unscrupulous person must have given out the #, like from a security company because I never give out this # to any business or otherwise (as I have other #s) except to immediate family, very very close friends, and my security company and my neighbor's security company

It comes up unknown, but upon redialing that number I found the above named charity. I never heard of them and I have never given to that charity - at least by that name. They call three or more times a day for weeks, dragging me away from c****s I miss the call and they never leave a message.....not that I'd return the call, other than say DON'T CALL ME A***N.

I received a call from this number tonight. I didn't recognize it so I did not answer. They did not leave a message. I googled it and found complaints about it. I have blocked the number.

They call frequently...never leave a message. To me, if it's important enough to make a call, it's important enough to leave a message giving the caller's name and a brief description of the purpose for the call. How hard is that? I'm just tired of seeing the number on my caller ID three and four times a day.

This is the 4th call in 4 days from this telemarketer scammer that claims connected to the American Cancer Society & wants your personal information to rip you off! I have filed 4 FTC Complaints on them and no action by FTC! Iam on the Do Not Call List! I have told them twice to stop calling me as well!

They asked for my wife by name. I asked who was calling, and the lady said "Ruth Vallerio" (sp?). I told her my wife wasn't home (she really wasn't), and Ruth said "Okay" and ***g up. Must not have been anything important.

I have been receiving calls from this number and I refuse to answer any calls that are listed as "unavailable". I did call the number back to see if there was any identification and the message said that it was from a children's cancer recovery foundation.

Has called every single day from morning until early afternoon, for almost three weeks. I have never answered but a google search led me to various complaints such as this site. I'm on the fed do-not-call list, unpublished number, funny how that list is supposed to protect people, huh.
