Does anyone have any ideas what this is about? I am concerned because I have no clue what they could be calling about or if this is real or a scam?
This number called me when I was studying and I did not pick up. When I called back I was advised to wait until next year to s**** paying the debt collection agency because there is a temporary amnesty period during the holidays so people can enjoy them properly.
Political call. The owner of all 1-800 and 1-877 numbers are charged per minute everytime someone calls. Keep calling this number back and run up their bill.

I received a call form this number about lowering my Visa/Mastercard interest rate and to Press 1 for a representative. Someone named "Jesica" with a very thick Indian accent said she was authorized to offer me a fixed lifetime 6.9% interest rate on all my cards provided my combined balance was at least $3,500, payments were on time for the last six months and the cardds were not overlimit. She then asked me to verify my name. address and hone phone number. I refused to give her any information because this was an unsolicited call; I'm on the do-not-call list and iden***y theft and fruad scams. "Jessica" tried to fast talk me into giving up the information because she was trying to give me a "reward" for being such a good Visa/Masterecard customer and they were maiking this offer because so many cutomers have cancelled their accounts due to increased credit card fees. I asked for a website address but she wouldn't give me one. She did give me her extension 223.
