Recieved the mortgage letter today asking if interested in re-financing our current mortgage with a new 30yr fixed. Looks official but doesn't indicated any company it represents except the Dept of Corporations. In California, this Department provides protections to consumers, and services to businesses, engaged in financial transactions. This whole thing smells fishy and would be best to throw it away. Sounds like a scam or debt collector

I called the number back after aferceiving three robo calls at 8 AM and found that they where looking for my wife's elderly aunt. The family recently had her phone disconnected after she was scammed out of a lot of money by in a fake lotto scam. I asked how they had gotten my number and the woman would not tell me, but indicated that they got it 'through' my wife's aunt. When I asked why they wanted to speak to my wife's aunt, the woman just said that it was a personal buisness matter. I asked her if it had to do with the Ca***ian lottery and the woman got very rude and ***g up.WARNING: If you receive a call from this number, check with family members, especially elderly family members, to see if they have been getting calls from people telling them that they have won money. Lotto scammers are very slick and they prey on elderly, lonely people. They often take advantage of people in the beginning stages of dementia because those victims forget that they been scammed and they repeatedly wire and mail money to crooks who run these scams.

Oxford Management Services. They call me from different numbers daily. Yah I owe on my credit cards...but it's either pay that or my electricity bill. I think you know what needs to come first.
We got this call at home and my parents got a call from this # looking for my husband. Saying he needed to call ASAP. He finally called back today. Said they wree collecting money for so****ing from a furniture company. My husband has never done business at this furniture company and asked them to mail a letter explaining and to never call his in-laws a***n. THe man was VERY rude and said he is not mailing a letter and he will call his in-laws whenever he wants however many times he wants. My husband asked to speak with a manager and the man said no. My husband said you can't talk to me like this and the man said this call isn't being recorded I can talk to you however I want. My husband said either mail a letter or you will never get any money from me and the man replied that he will just keep calling us and my parents.
