Grr The number is 1-877-562-2597, and showed up as "AC" on my caller ID. The people call and innocently s**** out by wanting to "verify" your business' information. Then they eventually confuse you and work around to sending you a trial for so****ing, which sounds innocent enough itself. Suddenly you've agreed to accepting a trial that, when it lapses, begins a subscription of $39.95 (sneaky), which is rolled into your phone bill. If you call their toll free number, there's a confusing message that says you can either press one to hear the menu in English (which is what you want to do), or to press 0 and leave a message and a representative will get back to you (which if you do that it says that's not a valid option). Press one, and talk to a representative. The representative I spoke with picked up the phone and identified herself as Patrice (as some have noted her name to be...she DOES still, in fact, work for this company, and this was on March 28th of 2011). I told her we didn't need the service and wanted to cancel. She gave me a confirmation number and told me it was cancelled. Then, before she ***g up, she said her name was Katrina. Yeah, definitely a scam if ever there was one.
