Leave a CommentHad a guy call our Maint Department and talked them into sending them 40 "FREE" lights to try out. These light bulbs last over 1500 hours and are better than any other light on the market. Said there is no obligation. We got the lights as well as a bill for $423. Each bulb costs more than $10! Also said he would throw in a Walmart card which never came. Called him back and told him we are going to keep the free light bulbs, like he promised, and thanked him for the free toilet paper with $423 written all over it.
Owners name is Craig Robinson. Drug addict, been scamming people for years with several different company names. They are located in Eldersburg, MD
Lee Grant just called me and said he ad an order for me..United distributers out of New Jersey..real ********ter's claims my lights are on the way..beware..how does he know wo to bill too?? just sends them with a"gift card" beware!!
These guys are genuine a** holes. How is this legal? How can we stop them?
THIS IS NOT A SCAM ITS DEAL I LOVE MY LIGHTS I THINK IT WAS A STEAL DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL YALL R TALKING ABOUT SO GET IT RIGHT???
Got a call today from Sean Davis (fake southern accent) looking for our maintenance guy (pretended he forgot his name). I told him he was not here and he wanted his cell phone number. Obviously we don't give that out. He said he was with united and wanted to talk to him about some lighting. Glad I googled this number to see it was a scam!
I am with a hotel in the executive office. Returned call to Matt Davis, phone answered as "United", he said he just wanted to give their new warehouse address since we buy light bulbs from them. I asked who this is a***n; I don’t recall ever buying... he ***g up on me. I can definitely see this as a scam. Moments after dealing with this call, our Engineering Dept at the hotel received a call from a woman saying she was calling about the lights needed for our garage parking (we have no garage parking)tried to keep our employee on the line, but fortunately he didn’t take the bait.
I get a lot of calls for our maintenance man, who is a MAINTENANCE MAN, not an office man. Meaning - he is around the property DOING MAINTENANCE... not sitting behind a desk. Our conversation: (Judy/UDI... calling for Ricky Davis)"Hi, I need to reach your Maintenance Supervisor.""I'm sorry, he is not usually in the office. May I take a message? He can return the call when he checks in.""When would be a better time to call back?""He is the maintenance man, so he's out of the office and around the building. He isn't usually in the office to receive phone calls.""Well, my boss really needs to speak to him.""Well, I can take your boss's name & number and give him the message when he checks in.""My boss is going into a meeting right now for the rest of the day. When would be a good time to call back.""A***n, he is never IN the office. There isn't a good time to call back, because you will reach ME every single time... and he will STILL not be in the office."I'm glad this number had some hits. I will for-sure tell my M.S. not to return this call.
These people sent us light bulbs and a bill, we sent it back and refused to pay. They have been harassing us weekly! We have told them not to call/Do Not Call List and they replied "go ahead and make us stop calling!" Their latest calls they have been using the "f" word on us! They are unbelieveable!
This number is linked to "United Electric" a**** other companies, most recently it was "KC" who called several times. It is a scam folks, they usually call small businesses and whether you agree or not, they send you light bulbs or oil sorbent pads and charge 5 times the amount of market value. Sometimes you receive the product, sometimes not, but there is always an invoice. These people can usually be isolated from legit distributors by the their New Jersey accent or the "funny" jokes.
These people are not who you want to do business with: They shipped me some light bulbs without my permission and wanted to charge me $600 dollars for them! I told them I would charge them rent for storing them and that if they ever did it a***n, I would keep them and NOT pay for them. As bad as they come! Don't call these freaks back and if you do happen to speak with them, promptly tell them where to go!
Notes from our property manager - this is a scam!! I did dtermine they are located in Hagerstown but would not tell me which state once I pressed. "Just wanted to let you know that our Maintenance Supervisor, just about got roped into a scam. Someone named Gene called here and spoke with Greg. Gene acted like he had spoken with someone before about a light bulb order. Then Gene's employee, Craig Howard called to verify light bulb sizes so that they could get that order shipped to us. They NEVER said what company they were with. Craig Howard's number is 1-877-907-***5. We have been trying to call and will continue to call until we get through to let them know they are not an approved vendor and they are NOT to send an order.
united distributing aka united electric, aka classic chemicals...big scam use to work there, they use fake names.
jordan davis with united called my office to say that she needed to get in touch with the maintenance tech about specs on electrical issues. i refused to give his name but told her to give me hers and a number so i could have him call her. total scam and it was it obvious!!! soooo obvious!
Just got a message to return a call to Jordan Davis at 877-907-***5.They scamed us on a box of bulbs we didn't order a few months ago. FREE Home Depot card, too!We refused delivery, but got a bill anyway.Crooks!!!
recieved voicemail at work from "Casey" indicating she was 'returning my call".I get these about 3 or 4 times per year, but have never spoken with them directly.Thankfully we have a pit bull of a receptionist when it comes to keeping unsolicited sales from getting any info
The caller identified himself as Steve Butch, was very smooth talking about their new warehouse and how the old one had burned down and they were updating their records, blah, blah, blah. He said he was going to send out a "new catalogue" and a free gift, leather wrapped tool kit and so****ing to do with fishing. He then said he was going to be sending a case or a half-case of lightbulbs but conveniently didn't have the price available. He called back twice very quickly trying to make the sale and we finally told him we weren't interested and to take us off of his list. Beware! Fraudulent and misleading.
Scam company selling light bulbs, etc. They call themselves "United Distributing", "United Electrical", etc. They called me last week trying to sell lighting; when I s****ed asking questions they ***g up. They left a message this week, and I obviously won't be calling them back.
I receive this call at work
I just got a call asking me to call Jack Davis, no other info
