915am,phone rang several times. when I answered no one was there. I have been getting calls from this number at 9pm and in the middle of the day.
Calls come in all hours of the day and night. When you pick up there is no one on the other end of the line

Took Bambi's advice and and called them back. Hopefully they will remove my number like they said. Am very tired of them calling.
IF I want to donate that is MY perogotive and I do not want all these harrasing phone calls, I don't care who they think they are...I am SUPPOSED to be on the govt. do not call list, and as far as I am concerned that SHOULD include anyone that does NOT identify themselves...If it is the Cancer Society I would never donate to them since they are using this tactic...I have received at least a dozen calls from this numbed and it always lists it as UNKNOWN NAME.

Non-profits and surveyors can disregard the Do-not Call listing. You have to tell them to remove you from their lists. If after 30 days they continue to call then you can file a complaint.
I got "unknown" phone calls sometimes 3 calls a day for months from 888-200-0381. I saw the comment from Bambi and called 866-435-7227 which indeed was the American Cancer Society and had them remove my number from their list.
All my numbers are on a DO NOT CALL LIST. Calls from this number come randomly at all hours of the day and into the evening. I would like to file a complaint.
Please have my name and Utah 801-*******x number removed from this caller, the American Cancer Society I am told.

continual calls with frequent **** ups
they call and call over and over a***n. sometimes minutes apart. never leave a message. have never answered, but i am getting really tired of all the calls.
call back the number (It is the american cancer society)i got a prompt after listening to the spiel about calling another number for customer service, wait and press 1 for more information about the organization and the call list when prompted. then you enter your phone number to be taken off the lis**** says that they have 30 days per Federal law, but they will try to have removed in the next couple days.

They may only be registering numbers that pick up and selling those numbers to telemarketers. We have noted a big increase in unwanted calls since we picked up on this number ... Despite being on natioanl and local do not call lists.
