Calling cell phone, leaving no voice mail
Anonymous Verizon Wireless Collections, which can be the individual listed in this report - working from home. A collector will call any number they have for you to try to get you to make an immediate credit card payment. These calls can also be automated calls, which route the calls to a human for handling IF the call is answered by a human and not voicemail. They may or may not leave a message if they do not get a human.

I got two calls from this number and o the second one they actually left a message about 30 seconds long. All I could hear on it was someone breathing and voices in the background, the kind you hear when you get a telemarketing call from someone working in a large call center! It all sort of sounded like they might have been using a head set and they forgot to ****-up!

M This is the Sallie Mae collections department, usually looking for a past-due payment. Sometimes they get it wrong, though, because I received three calls within half an hour even though my account was current. When I called back, the operator was incredibly rude, even when he realized they were the ones that had made the mistake, not me.

donsabi I gave my phone number to Charter when they installed my internet. I asked them not to use it or distribute it. Since the installation I have been ****arded with calls from different Charter locations throughout the country. I only have a cell phone and every time I answer my phone I am being charged for the time. I called Verizon who say they can do nothing. I called Charter and they say they will stop but do not. They just keep shifting locations. If I ever deal with Charter a***n I will never give them my phone number.

Called and didn't leave voicemail. I don't answer 800# calls unless I am specifically waiting for a call and I don't call back numbers that don't bother to leave a voicemail.

I followed up on behalf of an****ociate who keeps receiving calls from this number. The voice message they leave tells the person to call 866-403-6880. This is a company called C.C.A. CCA is a collection agency hired by creditors to collect unpaid debt. If you look up that phone number on this list, you'll see that it's all the same company. If you owe anyone money, these guys will keep calling you. If after 30 days of continued calls, they're unsuccessful at rea****g the person, they can file a lien a***ns you. To avoid this, pay as much as you can. Even the smallest amount shows that you are attempting to repay your debts and not ignore/avoid your financial responsiblities. Good luck.
