I have been recieving calls from their office for the past 2 months. They stated numerous times that they are taking me to court for an old debt. Haven't heard anything from them in the past 2 weeks so I'm not sure if they're following through with it or not. Anyone here actually been sued by this company or are they just using empty threats?

I just received a call from 888-212-3762 and asked if he may speak to me and I told him speaking and he he told me he was Mr. ? Duprey and he worked for James J Stanley and****ociates.  He asked me in a very demanding way if I knew a Katherine Louise Hayden and when I told him no he immediately ***g up and didn't even let me get another word in.  I also, tried to call the number back and received a recording stating that it was Mr ? Duprey with James J Stanley and****ciates and that he was on the other line and to leave a message with your name and case number and he would call you back.

I have received calls from Sonny Quintana and Mr. Dupree leaving messages that I must call them back regarding a "legal matter" .  When I called them back they said that I owe over $600 on a US Bank credit card I have never heard of.  After the 3rd call I informed them that I was filing a complaint with the Attorney General and the Denver BBB.  I sent a copy to Standley's 26th ave address (from his website), but it came back as undeliverable.  I filed a 2nd letter with the AG showing his Wesminster address.They have called from the following phone numbers:303 800-9351303 ******82888-212-3762303 800-9982

OMW! I have been gettin the same thing. I Just reported him and that James J Stanley&****oc. to an attorney off line I found. They told me they get alot of Complaints about this Person and So Called Law Frim! There not a Law Frim in Fact its a collection Agency Called N C O Finicinal! There Horrbile people!!!! I know from reading the ferderal Trade act!!!! They can not do that.

How did that go? Filing the lawsuit. If we're thinking Class Action, we'd like to get in on it. Did you see the message from "Mr Dupree's" ex wife posted recently. Oh boy!

We had the same experience. "Mr. Dupree" a "legal****istant" for somebody or other keeps leaving threatening messages for someone who is not here. This is a scam to collect personal information. Do NOT respond, engage, or provide information. We have reported this number on previous ocassions.

I was left a message on my home ma****e from Mr. Dupree with a file # and instructions to call back the 303-800-9982 number.  I saw on my caller ID that the call came from 888-212-3762. The message was left for someone with a similar but not the same first name.  From all the above comments it sounds like this law firm should be reported to the bar****ociation.

Mr. Dupree is still at it, and apparently that heavy breathing harasser has not learned any new tricks.  I also spoke with a "supervisor" Brian Quintana (Yes, that guy, too!) While they were not helpful in providing any information (or anything else for that matter), I did some checking on my own.  BTW, I was also given an account number that does not exist & they were looking for someone who does NOT live at my house!  Telling them that only caused Mr. Dupree to get nastier and then **** up on me.I now have the contact information on the actual attorney, James J. Standley.  Mr. Standley's office number is: 303-324-8234, if any of you would like to return some of these calls.  OR, you can write to Mr. Standley at: 5005 W. 81st Place Suite 200 Westminster, CO 80031.  I figure he should receive some unsolicited calls and letters, too!

I talked to Mr. Harold Dupree today and informed him I was recording the call and that by laving a message on my phone he was already in violation of the FDCPA and that I had already researched him and read all about him... He immediately s****ed yelling .... it made me giggle a little.... He proceded to yell over everything I said and ***g up on me ....lol So I called him back he picked up and said "law offices" I said "of What" he Said "look B***h I am not playing your games" ....lol and ***g up a***n!!!!! I used to work for a collection agency but a real one not a "scavenger company" like him. I called US bank and they have no information on the account that he gave me. I will be filing a law suit a***nst him on Monday.

This Mr. Dupree is my soon to be ex-husband. Think he's an a** on the phone....try living with him. And ya the company is legit.........apparently they just have no ethics or regard for the FDCPA!!! Its James Standley Law Firm off of Sheridan in Denver, Colorado.

Don't give this Mr.Dupree ANY INFORMATION!!! He is a fraud. Ask him for his information and (***ce yourself for his reaction) that is all you will need to know about this fraud. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he freaked out Yelling at me and Cursing at me...what kind of "legal****istant" behaves this way. You are a fraud MR. Dupree.

Mr. Dupree is the most unprofessional person I have ever come in contact with.He needs to be ***ted down and have his A** KICKED for treating people the way he does. There is no way he works for an attorneys office. Mr. Dupree is a real peice of work ... He calls my home rattels off a version of my husbands name, and then threatens legal action. When I call back, being the responsible law abiding citizen I am, and of course relate to them they have the wrong person, he does not so much as apoligze. He is a real ***** !!( excuse my language) and I will be shouting it from the roof tops MR Dupree. I then proceeded to call back to speak to his superior and he began yelling at me. There is no attorneys office is there Mr Dupree you are a liar and a fraud. Would you like someone to treat you this way...Keep hiding Mr Dupree!!! you wont let anyone talk to your boss because you are a liar and a fraud ( oh did I already mention that) ....There is no attorneys office.

I also received a call from 'mr.dupree' i didnt tell him who i was but instead asked why he was calling, he kept trying to get me to tell him my name and birthdate. he then made very threatening remarks toward me, told me he was going to 'f*** my life up' a**** other things. Very threatening. its nice to know that we have pages like this to warn people about things like this. Dont put up with his garbage!

I had the same call as Kris from a "Mr. Dupree".  Called back, got voicemail.  He was very threatening sounding.

We gat a call from a "Mr. Dupree" stating he was working on a judgement a***nst my husband (who has a common name) and we needed to contact him right away. He even gave us a file number to refer to. I called the number back and left a message on his voicemail stating he had the wrong person and we know he was just "cold calling" in an attempt to locate the real person. He called back the next day and said he was not "cold calling" and that he needed info from my husband to eliminate him. Our belief is this is a scam in order to obtain personal info. We chose not to call back a***n.
