repeated calls for Cynthia. 2 live here. one is 3 years old and the other goes by the name Cindy. no loans to either ever.
collection agency (after 5 minutes i finally dragged it out of them) they keep calling for a cynthia of which i have 2 in my household. one is my wife who has never borrowed any money and the other is our 3 year old daughter. very rude people. very harrassing. from now on we'll keep a log of the calls. very clever at hiding their iden***y. not professional at all.
It is CBV and they keep calling my company issued phone for some name I've never heard of!I have asked repeatedly to be taken off the calling list and nothing. Very, very rude people!I don't owe anyone anything, certainly not anything that would end up with a collection agency and yet I get harassed 6 - 8 times a day everyday. I bought the IBlocker Pro application for my blackberry and added their number to the black list. Now they get the **** up!
This number is CBV. A collections agency for Telus (including Koodo). They are rude people who don't give a **** about your living situation nor your income. I owed Koodo $584.64 CDN and the lady said she's be nice and make a settlement for $530.15... not's not much of a deal. After i told her that i have no money, she insisted me pay $100 right now, Once a***n i told her i had no money. Then she's like "Well what about $50? $50 isn't that much, you should be able to pay that." I was like "No.... i have NO money, meaning zero $. I can't even buy d***ers that i need for 3 kids under 3...." .... and her rude remark was "That's a lame-a** excuse, just come up with the funds" then ***g up. Like ***?!? B!7*h if i knew how to find you...........****!!
Got a call from these guys, saying I owed them money from a bill from over 12 years before. Never got a call from anyone in the time in between. Guy I talked to, said even though the bill was from a dead account, and the statute of limitations was expired on it, his words, I still had to pay them money. He said I owed them them almost 900 dollars, but if I were to pay them only 403, they would delete my account and never hear from them a***n. Everywhere I looked and everyone I talked to said the same thing, I don't owe them a thing, and after 7 years, they are not even allowed to call you. And also, they also went after my parents, and some of their friends the exact same way. If you get a call from them, ask them how old the bill is, anything over 7 years, you don't have to pay.
I have dealt with these people@ CBV, if that what you want to call them. I called the REGISTRAR in Ontario. I had to sent a letter (I registered it ) to the Manager. I quoted 3 violations and told them to cease and desist or charges would be laid. Save a copy. They stopped immediately upon receipt of my letter. I tracked it. I believe it was business and corporate.

had fun with these guys today. been calling 2-3 times a day for a month now, finally had enough and answered. Chose option 3. Option 3 CLEARLY states :To have your number removed from our call list, PLEASE press 3. I do. Indian woman from CBV collections answers asking for my mom. told her my mom doesn't live here (shes in a hospital, been there for a while too) asked me to pass a message along, told her no, asked for her phone number,said NO. Dumb woman decides to say, in her exact words" FINE!!! we'll track her number and ***T her down!!" and then ***g up on meSo, i proceeded to call them back, being the smart add that I am :P.Non-accented woman answers immediately asking if its my mother. i explain to her no and i would like to speak to her manager. After about 10 seconds of inaudible noise a worried "HOLD!" came from the earpiece ( not exactly sure if it was man or ma****e) Listened to their elevator music for a couple seconds only to have an answering ma****e pick up with more inaudible jargle that i can only****ume came from a ***** camel. Left a ..... Nice message. As of right now I am still awaiting a response from these addhodes.looking at the thread above with the info on making complaints, Gerretsen just so happens to be my local MPP. Maybe***** help out another kingston boy and we can get these addhodes to face the punishment they deserve

Past Rogers collection agency from what I believe as my line is Rogers and this is a recording asking for the previous owner of my line (from over a year ago) calls sometimes 3 times a day and every day since someone left a threatening message from Vancouver about calling a collection agency on the prior owner. I do not use my phone for calls and took off my voice mail account because I don't need it. This is annoying as I don't want to use my air time staying on the line to hear my choices and wait for someone to talk to me that doesn't have a thing to do with me anyway.

I think you guys are right. I have gotten a few calls, early mornings, Sa****ays. I called them back and the woman wanted to know who I was and how long I have had this number. I told her it was personal information and she ***g up on me. I called back to talk to her supervisor and she ***g up on me a***n.

its a collection agency for rogers wireless and cable. ive been called 6 times since 930am. its automated and then someone picks up. i told them to take me off of their list...apparently it never happened

It's a collection agency. Agent confirmed it this morning. Have insisted to be taken off their calling list several times now. No reason for them to keep calling... We'll see if anyone listened
i get a call from this number 2-4 times n a day. whenever i answer, there is automatic-recorded-message. very irritating.
Tells me to hold for an "urgent business message", repeats the message 3 times and disconnects. Same message if you call back and then disconnects. What is going on?

Yes very annoying....they have picked up the pace every 1/2 hour...they never answer the phone when we do....an auto dial world....
If I don't pick up the call it leaves a weird message on my phone, "If you are this person press 1, if you know this person, press 2, if you don't know this person and want to be removed from our call list, press 3". However it does not give a name. If you pick it up and wait (no one answers on the other line for 30 seconds) then this voice comes on with the same message. It's like they want to leave a message, so they fill up the ring time with blank ****e then s**** their little rant.
Daily 3 more phone calls from the above said unkonwn number disturbing me a lot.
They have been calling me for a month now everyday from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm every 15 minutes, I answer and ***ody is there, I spoke to someone one day and they said it was a collection agency for Rogers' Cablevision. I dont owe nothing to Rogers Cable, I have Bell. So I tried to tell them but they dont stop, I will get call screening to block them. I just answered it a***n and I got a nice lady for a c****e, she made a solution for me, she will contact Rogers and tell them that I do not have an account with them and they will stop calling. Hope this works.

Well, I'm glad to find the information above. This telemarketer has been calling me steadily for at least five weeks now. At first, they called twice a day between 9 and 5. Each week they called more and more frequently. They now call about 8 times per day, s****ing at 7:30 a.m. and ending at about 8 p.m. I am not a Rogers customer and I don't owe them anything. I am disabled so with this constant harrassment I just turn the ring off on my 'phone and check it every hour or so. Am going to report this one to the Ontario "Do Not Call" list to see what happens.

It cant be Rogers, I stopped using Rogers a while ago and I paid my last bill in full. I used to get calls from 416-733-1413, now it's 888-226-0228. I don't think a collection agency would call me every couple of hours from 7am-9pm...a little inapropriate.

I used to get called every couple of hours by 416-733-1413 for about, oh, a month at least. Now I get called every couple of hours by 888-226-0228, haha. I got some info that the 416 was a collection agency, but I've never answered because apparantly it is illegal for them to harrass you and make threats, which others have said they do when you answer. So I'm****uming the 888 number is the same collection agency, trying to outsmart me or so****ing. I dunno.I know it is NOT Rogers! because I do not owe them money. Anyone have another idea?
