This company is called CAI collections. I have a unpaid bill to a hospital..I have not paid the bill because they did some x-rays that I did not approve of!!! Now they want me to pay for so****ing I did not agree too. They have even called my work to make sure I am working so they can take me to court..

They have been calling me every single day for months.  They just leave me with an automated message.  I'm glad I finally found out who they are thanks to the posters here.  I just now called them back and and told them to never call me a***n.  I do owe some debt to a hospital, but collectors who work on behalf of the hospital call me, so I don't think that's the debt this company is trying to collect from me.  So I wonder what it is, considering I don't owe any more debt.Even IF you owe them debt, you can tell them not to call you.  This actually works with all debt collectors.  All you have to do is say, "I do not wish to be contacted about this debt a***n."  Extra bonus if you say you're recording the phone message.  Debt collectors usually aren't from the companies themselves.  The people who call you are usually from third-party companies that other companies hire to try to collect debt from people.  It works the same way with telemarketing.  It's never the companies themselves calling you, especially if the telemarketer says they're calling "on behalf of (company name)."  Saying that they're calling "on behalf of" means they're not from the company itself.  I used to work for a telemarketing company (it ****ED), so that's how I found out how these things work.However, this CAI company sounds like a scam.  I'm thinking about reporting them.

The DNC Registry does Not apply to Collection agencies. IF you owe money, Pay up, If not, let the leeches know they reached a wrong number, & they will remove your number from the contact list.

I get 2 to 3 calls a week, and there is no possible way i could be in debt. And I'm a minor. Its kind of getting annoying at this point.

They keep calling my number.  I do not have any outstanding debts, and no credit cards.

They called at 9:16 this morning.As the ma****e picked up it was a womans voice she just kept saying*****o.I dont owe anyone as I was recently discharged a Chapter 7 so if it is CAI well looks like Ill be filing a claim with the Bankruptcy Court as it is illegal to attempt to collect a discharged debt.

They have called me before. I don't answer. But this time the message says they were asking for my minor son. That is illegal and I intend to report them for violation of the debt collection act. I may possibly even owe a debt to them but I have no idea. Anything like that I require in writing, not over a phone. Also, a debt collector calling over a cell phone that costs me to receive the call is also a violation of the debt collection act.

They have called twice and left messages on my ma****e.  The reception of their call is not the best.

Asked for someone I was not familiar with, just wondered why they called my number.

Multiple calls to my Cell. I just got another call and when I tried to answer it and it ***g up. They leave a message without identifying themselves. I called the number back and the automated message said it was CAI. I get put on hold for the next representative and then disconnected. Can't find them on the web. I don't owe a collection agency, so I'm unsure the nature of the call.

Reeived this call two or three times a week.  I do not owe anyone any money and am just put on hold every time I call back.  I returned their call, they are looking for someone with the same last name.  I guess thats all it takes.They say it is a computer that makes the call.

I got a call from them tonight on my answering ma****e.  Never heard of them.  Don't owe anyone any money.  Am on the Indiana do not call list.  I don't plan on calling them unless the calls continue.  They will have a choice at that point: correct their records or have a complaint filed with the Ind AG.

Collection agency who had a wrong number

They call over and over.  It may be about someone with same last name as mine as I have received calls like this.  No reason for a collection agency to call me.  They wake me up even.  I am on two Do Not Call lists. Also receive out of area calls with no phone number and another from a 800-111-2222.  I do not answer calls that I do not know who they are from unless I am in bed and cannot see caller ID.  This last time I had answered and it is a recorded message telling me to call them back.  Very, very annoying.

To Any One This Helps-     I have been called twice by this number which is a collection agency no surprise.  A woman answered the phone with "Hello" thinking a called she had made was sent out while she was recieving my call to her.  She asked for Scott an yo tell by my initials I'm not Scott.  I informed her that I was not and she verified the telephone number and said "She apologized and would remove the number from calling my house a***n.  Call her back and give her*****.

They are a collection agency from Greenburgh,Indiana

Calls me 3 or 4 times a day, when I pick up they **** up, never leave a message if I just let the ma****e answer it, however I did call it back and a woman ansewered, she did not identify herself or her company, just said*****o; so I just ***g up.  I don't know who they are and don't know how to stop them from calling, any idea's?Thanks
