Leave a CommentI left a comment a couple of hours ago saying I hadn't answered the call from 888-277-6280, but that I was interested in DM's comment that these are Spam calls. I decided to answer the next time they called. When I did, it turned out to be an entirely LEGITIMATE call from Visa Fraud Prevention concerning a Charles Schwab Visa card my daughter is using for travel in Kenya. It would have been a big problem if they had cut off her card because no-one answered their call.
I did not answer the call, but very interested to see DM's comment. I'll answer next time and update here if any relevant information comes out of it.

Company called me and wanted my credit card number. really annoying and i****ume people fall for this stuff. Get a job.
I called the number on the back of my credit card and had them transfer me to the fraud prevention department. The fraud department said 888-277-6280 is a scam; it's not one of their numbers and there are no fraud problems on my account.
Received phone call. Did not answer.
