I received an email that I had ordered Coinbase Global on 05/25/2022 and that this transaction would appear on my paypal statement within 48 hours. $1,290.00 due , Powered by QuickBooks. Email from: Paypay ([email protected]). This is the number it listed as the Support number

On the email it stated that I had use quick books by intuit and that I had bought bitcoins $1290 and owed PayPal that money. Date on letter was 5/27/2022 “due date” was 5/24/2022

This number was used in a phishing email purporting to be from PayPal.

Stated I purchased bitcoins from blockchain.com - no purchase made - obviously a scam.

Sent an email claiming to be PayPal, said I owed $1290 for internet security
