They said I overpaid on mortgage. We don't have a mortgage. They never identified themselves.Caller ID said "toll free call".
I also received the "Amy mortgage payment" message. I, too, paid off my mortgage several years ago and am on the Federal Do-Not-Call list. However, in resear****g this on-line, I found the phone number attached to a website: www.withoutwords.inc and a person by the name of Keisha Mitchell in Chicago, IL. Check it out and then report it to the FCC and the Do-Not-Call list if you are on it.
We are on the do not call list. This call is from a bank or finance company and I would like for it to stop.
The **** Amy just called me. Said to press 1 to be connected....Recording came on saying message had been recorded...I didn't leave a message. Original message said their records indicate I have been overpaying on my mortgage. I lost my home in 2005! Duh I called back and opted out!
Claim to be calling from Ca***a distributing US Government funds to US Citizens to help with mortgages! Obviously a scam.
Called and said I was overpaying my mortgage and they could help. (I don't have a mortgage). Had me press 1 and then said if I wanted to opt out press 2
They just called me. Did not leave any voice message.
