A collector will call any number they have for you to try to get you to make an immediate credit card payment. These calls can also be automated calls, which route the calls to a human for handling IF the call is answered by a human and not voicemail. They may or may not leave a message if they do not get a human.
This is one of just many calls I receive. I just block there number everytime.

Sounded like a scam I have Sprint.
This call sounded su****ious. Robo-voice that knew my name. Wanted me to press 1 to confirm my name. Didn’t like the robo approach and ***g up... even if it was Verizon.

I also received a call on my AT&T cell phone. IF it was Verizon, I'm sure they would call me on my Verizon landline or email me at my Verizon email account. IT'S SPAM and I will be reporting them to the Verizon Abuse email address.
