I received the same card today in the mail 11/12/09. It didn't look right because it wasn't issued by the USPS. Also, no one had drop by or left a note on the door. I am glad I googled and found this web page. Lansing, MI. Thanks
Got my pickup notice in the mail today. I too googled the phone numbers and arrived at this site. Thanks for the heads up. I'm in Michigan.
Please, if you receive a call or a postcard from Express Package Delivery, contact the Better Business Bureau of Tyler, Texas so that others can be warned. I always check a company out with BBB for complaints. I filed mine today on this company. I called the number, knowing it had to be a scam...when I asked who they were and what they did, I got a spiel and I said, this is a scam - GoodBye! Then googled company - found this website, read your posts, and went to BBB to file complaint. The only way to stop them is to file. Contact your local state attorney's office for fraud alert.
Post marked 11-6 from Tyler, TX and delivered to Nottingham, PA. Sounded like a SCAM, so like everyone else I checked the web. Thanks for the Posts.Power to the People!
Looks like they are targeting Columbus, OH residents with the latest mailings. Thanks to those who posted.
We were expecting a package, so I called. Sure enough, "Your package is being held because you have been chosen to get a free Ba***** vacation......" My reply was a firm "No, thanks" and the person ***g up. I guess this is a way around the DO NOT CALL list. I wonder if the Postal Inspectors would be interested, since it came in the mail.
Just got the same thing...and I'm in Ohio. Thought it sounded questionable but didn't want to shred until I checked it out, so I googled it. Glad I did...this website is what I found.
I live in central Florida and I just got one of these postcards today. I thought it was very funny that the return address was in Texas yet I live in Florida and that a delivery service would send a postcard as notice instead of leaving a delivery slip at your door.Flimsy cheap postcard says:Express Package DeliveryPO Box 131690Tyler, TX 75713-1690Pickup NoticePackage Number: 1106-4137-1338Call To Schedule Pickup(888) 4-PAK-DEL(903) 839-1500Hours M-F 9AM -- 6PM (EST)Sorry We Missed You!!!Nothing more than a gim**** to sell you **** you don't need.

Received a card in the mail, post marked TX, stating I have a package to pickup ... No matter what it is, I won't be making the road trip from Michigan. Called the number to confirm it was a scam, indeed it is! To help the search engines, the numbers listed on the post card:(888) 4-PAK-DEL (903) 839-1500. Postcard return address:Express Package DeliveryPO Box 131690 Tyler, Tx 75713-1690
also got the same card in the mail.... thanks for the heads up... tried to look up the number but it is unlisted.. a delivery company with an unlisted number....really? NOT LIKELY
spammer, some kind of clearing house for junk offers. not a package delivery comapny as stated.
yeah who wants a free cruise?! total bu***hit, got a card in the mail, from an unnamed company saying that i had a pickup notice and they tried delivering a package. Funny thing is the postmark is from texas. and i live in ohio. called em up and tried saying that they wanted to deliver a package for 4 day cruise or w/e. how would they know whats inside? they arent a real parcel company and dont acknowledge this card when it arrives in the mail.
