Nelnet won’t stop calling!
Moaning and heavy breathing. Made me feel very uncomfortable.
nelnet account collections
This number calls me every day twice to 5 times a day. Just want it to stop
Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Stop calling my dam phone.
If this is true why are they calling my elderly parents who have had their phone number for 25 years and NO STUDENT LOANS EVER?Scam or spam.
We've had this phone number, (517) 663-6850 for over 3 years. This is a Business, and we do NOT Have Student Loans, and have Never had Student Loans. Furthermore, we pay by the Minute. Please take this phone number off your Dialer immediately!Miracle Arc, Inc.(517) 663-6850
also, I just wanted to add that even on Nelnet's student loan statements, which provide the physical addresses for Omaha and Jacksonville, those addresses have no phone numbers****ociated with them that I know of. Also, if you go to the Nelnet website, and click on the Contact Us link, one of the very first options toward the top of the web page that opens is the 1-888-486-4722 number, and it's described as a toll-free number you call if you need information regarding an EXISTING (ie current) student loan account.
This number is with San Antonio Fed. Credit Union. It is a customer service line that works in****ociation with Nelnet (I have student loans through Nelnet). It's basically the "main line" to speak to a Nelnet representative (Nelnet has 3 addresses that I know of, with 2 based in Omaha, NE and 1 in Jacksonville, FL). If you do call this number back, you do need to enter your ss # or your loan account numbers by using your phone keypad (this info is routed to a call rep who can then pull up your account info prior to picking up your call). When I did all this, the call rep repeated my contact info and name****ociated with my accounts, and asked questions that I had to verbally verify before he/she would continue into specifics about my account. The number is legitimate, but a***n, it's****ociated with Nelnet, and as far as I know, concerns itself only with student loans.
Be very wary of doing business with this company. Lots of questionable business practices. Customer service is abysmal.
I do not know who this company is, but when I tried to call them back I was run through a badly organized automated system, asked for account numbers I didn't have and didn't know how to get around, and then they asked me to hold for 10 minites. On hold there was super annoying music with a lady coming on every five seconds to say the same message over and over. When I finally go through to someone, they couldn't hear me when I tried to talk, and she automatically disconnected me! This is a HORRIBLE company. DO NOT bother to call back. If it is important, they will call you a***n.
Spam or even more Scam!
This phone was calling me and left the message said! They are one of my student loan. They asked for my social security number. I hope they don't use my iden***y. 714-747-0070
Received call from 888-486-4722. No message. Please info updates reguarding this number.
Similar experience to other people. Their voicemail said to call 888-486-4722. I didn't recognize the company name or have any previous dealings with them so was immediately su****ious. On the caller ID, the number was 888-402-3159.
We do not have any loans with these people nor have we ever. Despite repeated requests for them to stop calling, the continue. Police will be contacted if they do not stop this process of harassing calls. Last call, the person said 'hello' then nothing. I think this is a phone scam and should be investigated to the fullest extent.
they want the last four digits of the social to continue the voice message
This is Nelnet's phone number. I work for Nelnet, and this is the number they give out as their customer service number. Even if you do not have student loans, there is a chance you may still get a call if your number you have now was previously owned by someone who DOES have student loans. It is part of their process to call old numbers if they do not have current contact with that person.
Caller ID says San Antonio FCU - I have loans through Nelnet as well. Did SAFCU buy out Nelnet?
I got a missed call from this number while at work, no message left. I do have a student loan through Nelnet, but a***n, they left no message, and my loan payments are current. *shrug*
I second this:I checked my voicemail right after this number called, and they said it was Nelnet. I do not have a student loan.It is spam.
I checked my voicemail right after this number called, and they said it was Nelnet. I'm going to go check it out on their site.
WHo id calling me from this number and WHY
I think this number is for Nelnet. If you have student loans or co-signed a student loan, you may get calls from this number
